First, despite all your propoganda and the picture you've all been trying to paint of me. I've never cheated in this game ever. The one time I got deleted was in User Manged server and was because SoL reported my name 'Test Icicles' to their mod Mickster, because they couldn't kill me. On the other hand, I've used information from spies high and low level for my alliances, and its been shown I've used information from probable hacks to help us in war. Maybe, I'm not the most moral of people in this game, but I've never been involved with cheating, babysat or ran multi's. You could argue that my biggest shame is that I once tollerated a member running a multi, because I didn't want to rock the boat in that alliance. That player now plays in MD, maybe his 'friend' does too. So yea... I'm not Mr. Moral, but at least I accept that, unlike your side, which have had some pretty big cheats/ ex-cheats and as early as last set were abusing mod tools to gain information about us, yet still walk around like the defenders of ethics.

And yes... I'm accusing MD of gaining information from cheating, the same accusation MD has been using against SoF to rally members, recruits and allies for a good while now. Maybe it was worse and you guys know about the source and are playing dumb; but I doubt that can ever be proved. Yet, instead of eating your humble pie and accepting that not only are you a terrible ally who treats your FDPs like toys and that your no saints yourself, you instead try to spin this as if SoF has been cheating... you are all actually that deluded. And it's even more sad your allies can't see this.

Ivan: Avoiding wallers is a long-used tactic, but usually you need to know which players are the wallers. Sometimes this is obvious by country names, but last set it wasn't. The fact that our wallers were knew and attacked at the very start or very end, while our FS being a surprise adds to the evidence.

Pain: I was under the assumption RD was deleted, because they had hacked SoL's site and gained information that way.

There have been times in our history where where we've had pretty much unlimited detail on our enemies. The first time was when Hanlong had admin access to Boxcar. Despite what everyone says, he didn't hack boxcar; he was given admin acces by TC who helped set up the site. No game rules were broken. It's a risk when you use a server hosted by the leaders or ex-leaders of another alliance, especially an enemy. If Pang reamined on the LaF side and PDM hadn't become hostile to SoF; it's likely that this access would have never been revealed. There were accusations that he hacked the evo server, which could theoretically gave him access to the game db (which was the reason for the ban I believe) and counter-accusations that Evo hacked LaF to attain this info. So thats time no. #1.

Time number two was when some RD leaders had hacked SoL's site. We were able to know who owned what country and what strats SoL were playing. At the time there was nothing obviously suspicous about this. This is information a normal spy in an alliance website could find. It is pretty obvious that these types of spies exist in SoF/LaF feeding information to your side now. It's been part of the game for ever, I'm not going to whine about it.

Regarding iScode. There may have been a few times in history where he's told me an individual who plays a country. I never questioned this, because sometimes you just find out, as it's a friend or through word of mouth. If we take iScode's logs at face value (It's pretty obvious who the mod is here), then it looks like this abuse wasn't systematic, but a one off thing at this point.

It's hard to make a conclusion as this is one log (of many I assume). From what i've heard there is more, but the relevent parties are trying to work with the admins/game mods discretely to come to some conclusion. For me, it was pretty obvious someone used tools against us last set. As of that time there were no members who could have had country number access and been a spy. We had a surprise FS. But in the enemies CS, they attempted to rush all our leaders and throughout the set tried to leave our known wallers until the end. Furthermore they were able to track Scode, despite our leadership not even knowing.

Having only seen this one log, at this point I'm willing to believe that SoL/MD wasn't aware of the source, but were happy to receieve this information and use it, like I did when Hanlong had admin access. On the other hand, one or more people could have known and from what iScode has implied at least one leader from these alliances knew. Hopefully more will be revealed soon. But seeing as MD in particular has been crusading against us for the past two years calling us immoral and practically cheats for this kind of thing, I wonder how they'll react to this. Not site hacking, or spies... but actually using game mod tools against us. If they were trully as moral as they claim (They are not) then they should have the decency to disband.

P.S. Alin - It's usually easy to find you because of your countr ynames. And once you die it's very easy to track a restart if only a few countries die a day.

I assume the problem is that SoL are trying to cherrypick TIE players who could potentially go to their enemies LaF. While there is nothing wrong with this, instead of openly saying this, SoL are trying to dress it up as some friendly generous offer.

But we are talking about the alliance who accepted SoF's help when at their lowest, but then proceeded to attack our allies and then eventually try and steal our players.

Although some Russians believe their news avidly, and others will believe anything in order to shine a positive light on themselves and their country, most people here don't trust there media. However, they trust the Western media even less, which kind of explains their attitude towards the whole thing.

I did take some pictures at the Dutch embassy today though:

In an even number war it would be almost impossible for the losing side to come back via lemmings anyway. In a war where the smaller alliance has pulled ahead and a much bigger one is using their numbers to nerf the smaller one it leads to a scenerio where numbers always > skill.

I think you should lose 6% per DH. This would also make stonewalling more fun as making the enemy DH would be a much bigger deal. It would also make suceeding with the initial breaks much more crucial.

I also think something needs to be done about military loss. At the moment if you break the target, you usally lose more than your enemy and sometime your enemy loses very little. While all DH's are constant (there is no random factor and fluctation) meaning that failing could be a better way of breaking than actually suceeding.

I knew Evo was planning against us for next set, LCN maybe - but it would hurt them more than Rage or SoF.

As far as I know Rage and PDM have been pacted for a while (maybe FDP?) and we in SoF have been NAPed and had decent relations with PDM for a year, including helping them with recruitment at one point. Why would they turn round and hit us seeing as they've had traditionally poor relations with SoL, themselves got blindsided by LCN in the recent past and have never been backed up by MD in a war where PDM have been against the rocks?

p.s. I forgot MD once persauded us to CF against against PDM a few years ago and then didn't resign our FDP and joint FSed us with PDM the set after.

It's the same old pot/kettle/black. After complaining about gangbangs, unfair wars, inconvenient wars and political outmanoeuvring, SoL/MD decided to do the same thing to SoF for a few sets and halved our membership. It's not really the way to let bygones be bygones; if it's truly what you want. But, to be honest I don't think it is what you wanted. The way SoL/MD's leadership and mid-leadership has conducted itself with us in AT and in private has certainly not been endearing. E.g. a MD chat about improving relations, which turned emo as soon as we pointed out some difficulties and by the end of the chat it was revealed that the main purpose was to attain reparations for Warriors grab's. And... MD planning against our allies of course and telling everyone we told them to drop their allies...

I won't lie. SoF primarily wanted SoL. We would have preferred a FS in a non-friendly war, but could have agreed to an arranged war if practical considerations made it more convenient. However, our mind was pretty much made up to 1 vs 1 MD, once they told us they weren't pacting for a week, while they proceeded to try and pact an ally of ours. At one point we thought SoL was planning an oop FS on either us or LaF, because of their big mons... but this ended up being their mon farmer - tyr techer strat. It was only when the set began and the numbers largely favoured us, did MD/SoL actively try to pact us and then SoL continued to luke-warmingly entertain the idea of an arranged war, even though the numbers made it implausible and our replies were just as luke-warm as we were gearing up for MD. LaF who also wanted to war this set, and felt threatened by SoL at the beginning decided to hit them. Of course we became aware of their plans as we are allied, but we agreed that the wars would be separate as LaF/MD are allied.

To reinforce this, we agreed to pact with SoL and yes there was a break clause, but it wasn't a defensive break clause. As per SoL's initiative we signed a pact that would allow either to party to break the pact if the other alliance went to WAR with an ally of theirs. It's the same pact MD/SoL/Evo created during the big backstabbing scandal, which would turn SoF/LAF against MD. Before the war began, we believed the SoF/MD conflict would be close, while admittedly it became clear LaF would trounce SoL. When MD and SoL announced a friendly, we were very cynical and believed it was a ploy as they had the same predictions. We felt they used it as a get out of jail card, even though that was another implausible war (55 vs 40). However, returning to the issue, it was MD/SoL who took the tactical decision to focus on SoF and tell us they are coming after us next set with allies. Although SoF outperformed SoL and MD individually, the combined numbers were sure to overrun us and demoralise our membership (the latter I believe is their cynical plan to better prepare themselves for next set). Although we held out well, we were obviously not going to sit back and take it up the ass... Because, as the past half a year has shown, MD/SoL are not as sanctimonious as they portray themselves on AT. I'm sorry CC, but we all know the current authority in SoL lies with Makinso and mdevel, and it would be insane to put any trust in their actions, as of MD who consistently throw their allies under the bus when it suits them.

So my message to SoL/MD is... feel our wrath this set and we'll be waiting for you and your allies next set. But just a note for MD's allies... They might be thankful for your support, but don't expect them to bail you out of a tight spot in the future. I'm sorry Rage found that out the hard way in the past, but happy that we are building a strong relationship where we'll help each other and to go out on a limb for each other. Rage on!

True, they started to deteriorate WHILE TC/Hanlong were cheating and nobody would believe us. Didn't we later learn someone in SoF knew about some of it?

So not surprised it was 2-3 sets earlier on SoF's side.

For MD's part, we were trying to restore SoF relations and only wrote it off after that incident... We thought "ok, SURELY now they will understand what we've been saying"... but alas, no.

Changing history much?

They started to deteriorate when Hanlong showed us logs of MD conspiring with SoL/Evo who had been our bitter enemies for half a year. Logs showing that MD's help in negotiating a long-term peace between SoF/LaF and SoL/Evo was actually a plot to allow MD/SoL/Evo to destroy LaF and reduce them to a tier 2 power over the course of a few sets, while making sure SoF couldn't intervene. MD's motivation wasn't a suspicion of cheating, it was Arsenal's longing to avenge LaF over a 6 year old grudge that did involve LaF/RD and bots. Although MD was prepared to protect SoF, they were effectively relegating us to a junior partner without us knowing.

But of course we found out, because Hanlong had Boxcar admin access, which was given to him by TC who had rights... Immoral, but very different to cheating. He showed me pretty much everything of notice on your heads board, including logs with SoL, but there was no paranoia about cheating, not until at the very end where everyone thought Christmas had come early and discussions about how to make the most political capital out of it arose.

When it was claimed that Hanlong was going much further and that had actually hacked the Evo db, action was taken against him and LaF got crushed that set, which they agreed to and we agreed to. However, we were not going to let them get banged for a second set, when we knew the motivation was more about server dominance (I'd seen enough evidence). We defended them against our old enemies SoL and Evo and MD/PDM decided to FS us.

But if people want to blame SoF for deteriorating relations, I'd just tell people to look at how many FDPs have SoF dropped (and subsiquently FSed) compared to MD.

Interestingly enough the membership of the game has plunged during the last 2/3 sets. Sets where first SoF was gangbanged, second where we got FSed and most recently where we netted. So I think we can safely stop pedalling the myth that SoF aggression is the cause of this game's decline.

Furthermore, from the outside... exactly... enough said.

Now that Fazer has come out against SoF, does that mean we have moral victory?

MD we are your jury, your judge and your executioner.

Here are the charges and our accompanying judgements:-

#1 Willfully participating in gangbangs on SoF since Dec 2013.

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

#2 Bullying SoF's ally Rival

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

#3 Lying to SoF's allies about what SoF has said in an attempt to alienate them from SoF.

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

#4 Conspiring with other Alliances to ensure SoF's demise.

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

#5 Being a bad ally to Rage and allowing your other allies to kill Rage, firstly for leaving pacts open for YOU and secondly for no reason whatsoever.

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

#6 Attempting to play victim and good guy to the server and lying about your true nature, intentions and feelings.

We deem you GUILTY and sentence you to DIE.

With all the above said we know that we at SoF are far from innocent ourselves and believe we are guilty of the following:-

#1 Engaged in peaceful discussions with MD only to break away from them due to acts committed by MD leaders.
#2 Targetting MD when they were not our preferred target.
#3 Attacked MD knowing that MD/SoF relations will now probably never be redeemable ever again.
#4 Not being forgiving of MD for acts committed against SoF.

We are guilty of these crimes and we make no excuse for them. We have a short fuse with MD but you can never expect us just forget about how you have acted against SoF in recent sets and as such we have every right to be as ruthless with you as we deem fit.

The whole intelligence operation to deceive the Germans into thinking that an army of 1 million was posied to invade Calais was amazing too.

Crashing a dead body into the sea near Spain with breakable codes about an invasion of Calais. Thousands of blow-up tanks on the South-East coast. Breakable codes claiming that Normandy was a diversion.

This deception convinced Hitler to keep his Panzer divisions waiting outside Calais for three days, allowing the allies enough time to secure a foothold.

For the last 2 years SoF has strongly opposed organised landtrading. We believe it's against the spirit of competition, essentially making this game Sim City. We had policies against it for a long time, which along with changes in the game mechanics helped contain it. Instead we had non-organised grabbing with neutrals and unpacted alliances. However, overtime our political enemies were able to obtain the support if pro-landtrading alliances, and used this to outnumber us and gangbang us for two sets.

Now we just don't care about it. If netters want to do it, they can... we'll just continue to refrain from netting.
