I'm not even storing anymore, it was a necessity thing 5 days ago I started a couple days late and had pretty much full turns and was having trouble spending them. Having not played team for a while I couldn't remember how many turns I could store... I'm using the turns now, don't worry I'm not planning anything... isn't there something more interesting going on in team ATM that we can discuss instead??? :)

Doesn't matter anyway, his question has been answered.

The solution of switching to desktop is not apparent if you only play mobile and can't remember where you last saw it!

For future reference it appears on mobile too but only when you log out then log back in. I think we can put this epic thread to bed now!

If you are grabbing early either send 100 jet Ss or PS, as a lot of bots have zero defence until Friday, you'll get a failed attack on most human players saving yourself turns in not having to spy.

Thanks, nearly ruined it by running out of food three times and cash once like a total noob which I guess cost me a million NW altogether. Also was running out of time to play my turns near the end as military prices much too low to sell, looked like a lot of unnecessary undercutting given the low number of commies but held my nerve and it paid off!

I won express! And smashed my own express previous best by nearly 10 mil NW...its taken a long time, I've been top tening for a while now, and never finished higher than 2nd. I was beginning to think that my strat couldn't get me to over 40m but this set everything came good. Tech prices a big help.

Sorry I wan't clear - Wim Hof was the perpetrator, I'm Adjustment Bureau. Quint tapped by a player that had already been wrecked. Absolutely no reason other than just wrecking someone else.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against that style of play, but if you are going to do it at least make it good. They were mediocre grabs, from a mediocre country on another mediocre country. So weak.

OK sorry! Wim Hof got what was coming to him!

Other factors > you get more from a bigger country, you gain more if you have military strategy tech, tyrannies gain more. That's it I think.

So that answers your question, if you go turret light be prepared to retal a lot, and then sooner or later you'll run into someone who can't handle a retal and that will be your set over in terms of trying to achieve a decent finish.

Or, you run into someone who can defend against your retal and you must then suck it up, or go all out suicide. :)

I grab that I can't retal I just let go. But someone who retals a retal and then retals when I retal their retal i feel duty bound to suicide on

Oh man I had someone triple tap me, I only retalled once and got most of the land back in one hit so thought I'd leave it at that. Then I get 3 more hits off the same guy and a 'retal' message so I hit him back 5 more times to even it up and also messaged to try explain that hitting someone 6 to 1 is not a retal. He then messaged me crying that I'd ruined his set! Some people on here are truly bizzare... or stupid

I'm lurking mid table this set, luring people into thinking they'll get an easy grab and then sucker punching them with the retals. So stupid they don't check my retal history, turns, cash, jets etc but a lot of fun for me.

If you would play a specislised strat as opposed the fluffy POS rainbow you might realise that producing oil to sell at $60 on the PM is plain stupid...... compare that to tech prices at $2500 per point.

Oil production = 2 barrels per turn
@$60 per barrel = $120 per acre per turn

Tech = 1/3 point per turn
@2500 = $833 per acre per turn

Specialised strats have been explained many times to you..... I suppose you cant fix stupid.

Not saying selling $60 oil makes sense but oil produces every turn whereas tech does not so you need to account for that, makes oil somewhat more profitable than in the above calculation.

If I play douchbag Ill generally have up to 14mil jets at 130% weapons when topfeeding. Good luck stopping that offense on a PS - that is 27.3mil turrets raw. It is stupidly easy to get that. I can have 2 full days lazily stocking before unloading. I a couple of sets ago I was running 12mil jets, 3mil turrets at 130% and still had 1.5bil onhand. Moral of the story..... PS mil bonus needs to be removrd off on servers were allies are not allowed. Maybe replace it with greater ghost acres or double building capture.

I hardly went turret heavy that set, yeah any jet heavy country can PS anyone but only once if the target has enough turrets, then have to wait to get their jets back so its not as though they can hammer them over and over with PSs. I do agree with removing / reducing the PS bonus though. Turrets do at least deter the casual douchebag and at least hinder the expert douchebag.

I have thought this before. For example if there's a big tyranny all jetter top feeding the top ten then the top ten don't have much option other than wait until they are picked off as individuals. If on the other hand the top 10 got together and group killed the all jetter then it would probably be seen as collusion. Maybe some of this type of activity should be allowed.

Probably be impossible to police though and just cause chaos. There are other ways to negate the effect of douchbags. XZ million turrets usually does the trick.
