Warster, is that 13 hits for each of the countries or for both of them? I mean, if I do 4 hits on a country, I assume he then will still 100% ghost acres in a retal and not 80%?

When does the ghost acres DR reset?

I would suggest that ghost acres DR (GA-DR?) to go down much quicker (25% per hit or so) and then stay at zero for the remainder of the reset.

My preference is still with #2 though with an around 10% point drop per hit, i.e. 1.0, 0.9, 0.8 etc, for the ghost acres with reset long GA-DR. There is of course nothing preventing the two methods to co-exist.

I would like to see some changes in line with how the game works to reduce the land trading.

My suggestion would be to introduce a diminished return (DR) on ghost acres, similar to how gains are reduced for land grabs with multiple hits in a 24 hour period. I have a few more specific suggestions:

1. When two countries hit each other repeatedly (land trading), reduce ghost acres by 50% for every hit. DR could last the entire reset.

2. For every land grab a country does, reduce the ghost acres by 10-15%.

3. Land grabs within your own alliance/team/FFA whatever gains no ghost acres.

I imagine the second suggestion would be both effective and rather easy to add to the code.

I propose a user-configurable URL field against the country. A link to the URL could then be seen by the other players on the server, perhaps as a small icon before or after the country name in the scores/clan list, or when you search for a country.

My own usage of the field would be to a picture or a page hinting at the meaning of the name of the country.

Thinking about my previous post a bit more, wouldn't using your bonus points for extra turns (practically) always be considerably better that any boom if you consider its marginal value (I think that is the correct English term)?

Any extra turn you gain during a reset can be considered an extra turn at the (future?) time of the reset when you are at the maximum production, but the benefit of all booms are calculated at the time/turn they are taken, so taking turns for your bonus points should almost always be better (assuming turns are in shortage).

Perhaps someone with more in-depth math/logic education could verify or refute.

I have never considered playing an all-X TMBR in the same way I haven't considered e.g. an all-X dictator casher...

I think the balance between all-X and those that grab is pretty OK with the highest NW all-X in rank 29 and 8 all-X in the top 50. I normally play all-X and I accept I won't get close to a top 10 playing lazy like that. If changes are done to make all-X unfeasible I would probably just stop playing as it would require to much effort to play.

I would myself like to see a bit more quality and less quantity in the number of grabs. Hammering in 15-20 SS a day on small countries is in my mind not beneficial to the game. To me it creates a too hostile environment to introduce relatively new player into. I would trade a little bit less harshness against an increased user base.

And I see a small point in combining the bonuses. As it is today, the non-cashing boom bonuses are usually less beneficial than extra turns. But if the boom bonuses were merged, most people would use them all the time and nothing else and the entire bonus system would be no enhancement to the game. My suggestion would instead be to boost the non-cashing booms 5-10%.

I often got something similar on the Top 100 Arena site and just the other day I figured out what it was. Another player is playing from my work, so using the same gateway. The site appears to log the IP number, so for whoever of us is doing that bonus first in the day it works, but for the other you get a "you have already voted today". The other two sites works fine. Not a big problem, I just do that bonus from home instead when I remember

I just had the in-game captcha appear even though I answered the three bonus captchas 22 minutes earlier.

I don't see why it should revert back to force an in game captcha every day when you do the bonus captchas, so I think something got broken.

Yes, transaction prices on jets were about 4.5% lower in average on the public market when excluding the last 10 days of the reset.

Transaction volumes were about 99% of the turrets (about 2.8B each), so a difference in demand doesn't appear to fully explain the price difference.

Still, prices on the public market and usefulness in military strength/war doesn't (at least not to me) explain why they have different networth per dollar on the private market.

Before anyone gets upset because I'm arguing (as tend to happen on these forums), this is not something I consider to be particularly important. To me this is more an "Earth 2025 legacy blemish".

Would it make sense to adjust the buying prices on the private market to give all the military the same networth per cash?

A suggestion would be:
Troops   150
Jets 180
Turrets 180
Tanks 600


Which would be $300 per networth.

I'm thinking that while destocking and reselling, turrets is currently a second rate military type.

I'm not arguing for this, but I don't think this would particularly strengthen the Theos. Mostly it would only drive up the prices on food at the end of the reset and to a lesser extent in the beginning of the reset.

The "Delay 8 hours" doesn't work either, but the same (re-)captcha does work on the bonus sites, so it looks to be an EE problem.
