spammer's post was deleted and last poster not being what forum says isn't that new bug either.

this is something i want to fix, will take me some time to track down all the errant code tho.

it's just that we don't update the "last post time" in the thread table after we delete a post =/

Probably stemming from the same problem, all kinds of threads are paged wrong. It shows the last page and you click it and it's not the last page, there's another page after it. Or the opposite, you click the last page and there's nothing on it and you have to go back. It happens in both directions

yea qz, but still need a bit of time to find what code does the 'deleting' and then update last post. not hard, just time consuming.

The paging does stem from the same issue. as deleted posts arent really deleted, just hidden, so paging includes them.

Actually, the paging issue comes from the fact that it's hard to differentiate between posts which are actually edits and posts which are edits of edits. Being that everytime you edit a post, it adds a new post in the db.
