You answered yourself. To a decent degree, not fully.

Or are you saying that SoL is always fully ready for war regardless of if it gets FSed or is doing the FSing?

Klown, grats on making an effort to spell my name incorrectly. You win this round.

You are saying that SoL reduced the country advantage of iMag/LCN/ICN to 30% from the starting 50% in the FS. That still leaves SoL with stored turns unlike LCN/ICN.

You are then saying that the CS which was pretty much ad-hoc counts as the FS at these new numbers. Your statement is completely flawed. LCN and ICN were not prepared for the war and did not have stored turns thus the CS was not as effective as a fully stored turns FS would be.

At the very best you can say that it is equivalent of SoL and iMag/LCN/ICN doing a mutual FS with iMag LCN ICN having a 30% country advantage. Even that is not true because of SoL having stored turns.

I have to agree with Evolution here that your post was a clear trolling attempt.

Evolution, with that argument I can accept LCN ICN doing a 50% of a FS (even though equalizing a FS like that is simplifying things to the fullest since there are so many factors involved). However, saying 'iMag got the FS' is saying 'all FSes are the same'. iMag was not fully ready for war and although that is not an excuse for iMag it is something you want to account for if your goal is to make a realistic model of relative powers. Of course if you are simply trolling then there is no such need.

Had iMag planned to FS SoL at that time then I could accept you saying 'iMag got the FS' but iMag did not plan such a thing. The iMag attack on SoL was a reaction to SoLs attack on LCN and ICN and as such was inherently weaker than it would have been if it was a pre-planned thing. It is in fact the equivalent of SoL FSing all three clans but making no attacks on iMag. It is true that iMag had slightly more stored turns than LCN and ICN but not nearly fully stored as SoL (or any other clan doing a real FS) had.

Evlution, your attempt at a mathematical estimation fails at 'If a CS is 50% power' since you provided no grounds on which to base that assumption.

I didn't get an answer to my question but I have to assume Klown did in fact mean iMag, LCN and ICN by saying 'iMag and Co.' since I see no one else that would fall under the Co. part.

As Evolution pointed out ICN/LCN didn't get the FS, which means Klown is not familiar with one of the basic facts about this war which makes it safe to assume he knows nothing or very little of the entire war. This means all of Klown's posts on the topic are irrelevant and ignorable.

Make the ops come in with a delay. The way it is you are preventing a clan from getting ops before the FS but rather use the hitting turns to get them.

No ops would be better imo, but if you gotta have them put in a few hours of delay. Or make it so that once the owner of the country logins the ops on that country show up in the admin thing.

It's like an attention seeking thing. Why don't you try the slightly more difficult path and develop relations with a group of alliances and help them out? Having 'flufflists' and random first strikes is no longer going to fly here.

Give yourselves some credit and try to play the game in a better spirit otherwise we will just end up here in the same spot. If you want to change, SOL will not only leave you alone, but I'm sure will help you along the way. :)

Evolution. Seriously. A tagkill is a tagkill. It doesnt need to be announced nor is FA contact needed. Once all originals of a tag are dead, the tag was tagkilled. It doesnt matter if anyone says it. The tagkill wasnt on the 23rd, I dont know why Maki declared it then, nor do I care. It was on the 18th. Do you really think you needed a full week to tagkill iMag?

I am not saying SoL should have stopped hitting, or that SoL is a bully for hitting after the tagkill. All I am saying is that what Maki (SoL) has posted earlier is untrue. Why he posted it? Was he drunk? Was he misinformed? Was he saying "LOL IMAG IS fluff"? I dont care. I dont want to know.

I fully expected you to hit after the tagkill, why wouldnt you? We were at war. There is no bashing of SoL here.

In the end, you agreed with me that SoL kept hitting (at a reduced rate) after the tagkill. That makes "SOL stopped hitting right after Imag was tag killed" untrue. That was my whole point.

I don`t see how Maki being slow affects anything here. Tagkill doesn`t require Maki`s declaration. Besides it was made public in this thread:
http://forums.earthempires.com/...9235&z=imag-tagkilled

I also dont see you doing better than 200 HPK, though I don`t have the exact stats. With 9 kills that`s 1800 killing hits. That leaves 1390 lgs. 1390 is not a majority. It`s not even half.

I really don`t see what you tried to say there.

It is true that iMag did not want to ceasefire. It is not true that SoL stopped hitting right after iMag was tag killed. SoL killed every iMag country that got into hitting range.

Since iMag tagkill (roughly 18th Feb 13:00) SoL made 3190 hits and 9 kills on iMag.

Yes. The attackers Spies/Land, also known as Spies Per Acre of Land (SPAL) is compared to the defenders and the ratio determines the chance of success.

Actually the more land the defender has the lower his SPAL is, so it makes operations against him more likely to succeed.

Spy tech increases the effective number of spies. If you had 100k spies on 10k land and 120% spy tech your effective SPAL would be 100k/10k * 1.2 = 12

If your pop is very low, your taxrate wont have an effect and you will regain 40 pop even at 0 taxrate.

If its higher, not sure of the exact number but likely ~1500 the lower your tax rate is the higher the regained pop.

Regain is also dependant on maximum population so in theory, exploring/building Residentials would increase your regain (by increasing max pop) but the effect is negligible due to the regain cap.

max(40,round(0.03*(1-taxrate)*currentpop)

where taxrate is between 0 and 0.7.
You cant regain more than that (but less is possible).

Once you have enough pop the cap will no longer be important to you and then maxpop kicks in.

If you want the exact math on that point... well... pm me or something.

True, but also X>=-4 so its

(X>=sqrt(5) or X<=-sqrt(5))
and
X>=-4

as for the actual solution, im not sure if this works but:

Sqrt(x+4)=x^2-5
log(Sqrt(x+4))= log(x^2-5)
10^log(Sqrt(x+4))= 10^log(x^2-5)
10^(1/2*log(x+4))= 10^log(x^2-5)
10^1/2 * 10^log(x+4))= 10^log(x^2-5)
10^1/2 * (x+4)= x^2-5
x^2 - sqrt(10)*x - 4*sqrt(10) - 5 = 0
which is
x^2 - b*x - c = 0
where
b= sqrt(10)
c=4*sqrt(10)-5

etc

using the fact that 10^log(x)=x and that log(x^2)=2*log(x)

I dont have time to check it out though.
