BS, I agree... though I never ran more an a couple hundred... I didn't eve have time for that then. I just did what I felt I had to for my clan. No way could I do that again. 16 is fine, and balances the server. So far I've enjoyed my return to playing.

On another note... I Love how Crippy, Mars, BJ, and others still have ancient clan names as part of their name. Especially Mars, since his has my old clan... plus he's the prettiest. ;)

Some of them were probably bot-runners to be sure. Some of the clans had thousands of countries. I also agree that bots caused the demise of the game... but I maintain that the clan leaders that I got to know... Thorndike, Lag... others that I can't even remember right now... they were good leaders and honourable people.

I've noticed this the past couple days as well (which is when I started playing again) Interestingly, I always got the impression that it was the other way around. Back in the day the 1Aers could be more serious and stuck up about the game... but FFAers were by FAR the more hot-headed of the two.

I also agree with this. Even at the end, I maintain that the guys I played with could go pound for pound with anyone out there... but with the multi-clans... we just couldn't compete with the numbers and drove most of us away from the game.

Dedication is respectable... so if you can put that much effort into it, then to some extent good for you... but there's a point where it just ruins everything.

The old FFA was unbalanced by the time I left... and that was years ago. I don't want to see it that way again.

...but seriously TC was awesome. Some of the best players and leaders this game ever saw have already been mentioned in this thread already. I was honestly proud to have remained a clan leader in TC with such honourable company.

Well, AndyD and gorman used to work at Nortel, when there was a Nortel... So it might be difficult to fid them now. They used to play while at work... But they don't probably work there anymore.
