Many people have started to become concerned about the state of the game. There has been many talks about the concept between leaders, and I have found that most people would rather have an even war vs a war where it just drags more and more alliances into the mix (aka kitchen sink wars) where multiples allainces (netting allainces mainly) start to become fatigued. This wouldnt be an issue with a fully populated game, but with so few alliances, its a HUGE strain on netting alliances.

Another reason for even wars is to help other alliances not be dragged into these wars too. With many leaders creating grudges with one another, it can be very easy to have multiple alliances war set after set because one or the other allaince was called into a war.

The purpose of playing this game is to have fun, and with multiple leaders attempting to strive for the 'even war' ideals amonsts themselves, they can more easily find themselves having even wars occuring where one or the other sides do not get into a situation where they are either forced to restart over and over again, or have thir reset ruined because they honored a pact with an ally.

To sum it up, to try to retain players in the game, to give netting allainces a chance to net, and too also make wars be based on skill rather then 'how many members you can call in'.

Because in the end, if an allaince really wants to win no matter why, they will simply gang bang who the hell they want OOP every dam reset. Does anyone really want that?

The issue is that it was RANDOMLY thrown into the game without any real testing, and imo as i said, poorly implemented.

I think the delay on attacks was a great idea but very badly implemented. Its hard to do on a browser game sure, but its a good idea either way.

Increasing the number of hits it takes to kill a country have thought through. 180 BR's also means turns for readiness and rebuilding. 500 BR's for a single country could end up meaning that countries would never ever die due to how faster a country could rebuild vs the amount of attacks.

FS someone out of the blue? Doesn't matter. Do it twice? Again, doesn't matter.

Have leaders get caught cheating? I'll have to hand it to most of the community; I've never seen so many people so gullible about something so stupid: "Don't blame the alliance for having cheating leadership, even though it's directly by that cheating that said alliance achieved its infallible political position!!!!!" and people couldn't wait to bend over and take it. At least they paid for it, sort of.

Jump into a perfectly-even, fun war, thus making the war uneven, and no longer fun? "You shouldn't have made them ANGRY!! RRARRRARRRRRGGHH!!"

See, it doesn't matter if certain alliances get "exposed", because the rest of the community doesn't care. And unless the other side has an extra alliance available, they'll get away with it, once again. Because you can't have fun with people who refuse to have fun.

Um, because the level of aggression Laf was showing. Laf FSed SOL multiple sets. Even though we had NO PLANS to hit Laf, they still hit us. YA we did talk about taking our revenge on Laf, and Hanlong used those talks to hit us. In the end though, the convos ignored, were the ones where we fluffing decided to leave Laf alone because we didnt want to be put into a dam situation where SOL would be hit OVER AND OVER again.

Its like the freaking same time when Laf spread false lies that SOL was getting war preped, where in fact we were not even fluffing saving any turns before christmas because WE DIDNT WANT TO WAR DURING CHRISTMAS TIME.

We had every RIGHT to want to go after Laf. We freaking expressed it too ALL OVER THE PLACE. Did we ever decide to go forward with it though? fluff NO. Not while I was around for DAM sure.

You should be well aware though that LAF and friends were simply using my honesty, trusting nature, and position within SOL to put SOL into weak stance just so LAF could come in, twist our words around, and use that as a reason to come at US OVER AND OVER again.

You put a animal in the corner, its going to freaking lash out.
BESIDES, those talks were also during the time when we already had specisions that Laf was cheating. AND OOO we had ideas of this a little bit after it DID start.

I am not going to go into detail of this though, I want to avoid ranting any further then I already have.

A oversimplification of the situation that proceeded this reset.
You do make a point though, that certain tactics can be either nonorable or dishonorable. In my situation that I brought up though, I felt that it was neither. I am sorry if i didnt specify that clearly enough. I think it can be easily said though that the tactics based on cheating, no matter how you look at it, is dishonorable.

O, and if you dont trust my words, then I am sorry that I lost your trust, and wonder what I did for this to occur. I make it an effort to be as honest as I humanly can, even if it means I loss face.

The negative events that have transpired, as you would say, didnt involve you two alliances directly, yet you are playing it all off as something a lot less honorable then you are making it out to be.

You are making your selves look a certain way, and what ever we say behind our lines doesnt mean anything. Its our actions. That is what matters. Its the actions we take.

Laf had a better then expected war this reset. I expected Laf to completely DESTROYED with no mercy. That didnt occur.

Multiple alliances and leaders on our side defended Laf and Sof teeth and nail. That didnt matter though.

My symapthy for Laf is almost dead completely now.

And no, i do not expect Laf to just sit back and take a beating.
I do expect however for the spinning to die down from leaders.

You are so full of fluff man. You think that just because you set some terms when you hit an alliance and expect them to live by it? We didn't let our allies help us last set when you unjustly killed people who were not cheating and you expect us to play by your rules?

You guys are so full of righteous talk and yet you don't see that everything you are doing is what you are claiming you are fighting against.

I guess MD planning to isolate and fluff Laf is honorable Atryn? Man.. pathetic.

So your Main leaders cheated for multiple resets, and you are saying to us right now that Laf was killed unjustly? No. I am sorry. It does not work that way. What the leaders do IS THE ALLIANCE. Doesnt matter what the hell you did with your leaders after words, you followed along and played the game how THEY SAW FIT. You want to stay in laf for it, that is ALL your right.

For bloody sakes though, do not come to me and tell me that we killed Laf unjustly.
EVEN IF Laf was not caught cheating, with the amount of BULLfluff Laf was pulling, you still deserved to be wrecked.

O and BTW,

Whether everyone likes it or not, the bottom line is that SOL and its allies did NOT want to gang bang the fluff out of Laf. This was decided BEFORE the reset begun.

BTW, IF Laf WAS isolated as you claim, it is niether honorable or dishonorable. Its just a tactic. Saying that it isnt honorable tells me you think we would trust Laf in keeping this war even.
We dont, as you just proved to us by calling in SOF right now.

YOU HAVE TO PROVE to us that we can trust Laf. Your leaders have to start taking the needed actions towards the community that you are going to be honorable yourselves. Laf has great allies that really trust you guys. And that is really great. Not everyone feels that way, and we have a right to feel like that.
And again, this is niether honorable or dishonorable. Its simply fact.

Everyone who sympathizes with Laf with what has occured normally say something along the lines of "It was only a few people who cheated, they were punished, leave the rest of Laf alone."

Then, the same people randomly go on the forums, attempting to ride on the success that was based on Laf cheating in the past 5+ resets.

It is actions and talk like this which destroys any sympathy that I have for the members of Laf.

I guess this is the best course of action in this type of situation when you are backed into a corner and you really dont care how you get out of it.

A topfeed is when a Fat land country gets grabbed and losses a lot of because they didnt carry enough defense. They then start to become butthurt by their poor military choices so much so, that they have to relay on the political abilities of their alliance FA's to try to get there land back due to their mistakes.

That is topfeeding.

PS: It may of meant something different in the past, but that is the current form of what it is atm.

I love Diablo 3. Its a great game, and I enjoy it.

There are flaws though in the bussiness practices behind lizzard and Diablo 3 though that has tained an other wise amazing game.

First flaw for me is being online all the time. The AH is VITAL to the play of the game. The majority of the time, for me at least, the AH is not working at all. I have to make money from the AH to get better items, but how is that possible if i cant even sell them? I would rather not spend an hour spamming chat trying to sell my items. Thats one aspect I disliked about d2.

Another flaw is how they went ahead and told everyone the awesome features d3 will have, when eventually they just toke a bunch of crap out (enchanting and pets for example). I am glad they are thinking about the core game play above all else, but you shouldnt freaking go out and tell people whats going to be in a game UNLESS your 100% sure its going to be in the freaking game at the very very end. This utterly pissed me off.

Lastly, the future issues that are going to arise with RMAH. No one should be able to use it without an authenticator. Too many stupid people are going have real money stolen from them because they are going to click the wrong link somewhere.

Alin go back to your cage.

iScode, have my babies.

Rival knows where I am if an issue occures. Infact I have always made right when ever something has occured. In this instance, Rival is 100% no doubt in my mind wrong for killing our country for an 'honorable and respected' reason. The country in question did not warrent being killed for two grabs. Rival countries have done more to SOL, should they have been killed?! No?

I have ALWAYS created an open dialogue between Rival and SOL. This completely confounds me.

What I find funny is that there is nothing but fluffing and moaning about the game from people who wanted a DIFFERENT game. Why is it like this, why is it like that, why is the game based on gear, why is the game like this BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Guess what. Its Diablo 3. Its not diablo 2. Its not another different genre. GAWD. THe D3 forums make me want to stab me in the fact. So many bought the game thinking it was something else. IF you dont like it, stop playing.

Rival killed a country that did two hits against Rival.

Does that mean SOL can kill any country that hits it twice? No?

This is what I see. Rival acted against SOL as soon as it saw an oppertunity to cause an issue they knew SOL wouldnt stand back and not act. As soon as we acted appropriately, they saw a reason for SOL to be wiped out. You know, its funny. Cause the war we are with Laf is because LAF FSed us.Sooo....

I am going back to Diablo 3 now.
