Midfeeding is where you try and outrun retals, so the alliance you hit has to work hard to get enough jets and networth to do the retal. Its very annoying.

Seems like a strange definition for the term. Sounds like they're just trying to protect their grab/land.

"Midfeeding" and "topfeeding" are the kinds of terms that this server does not recognize enough to ever enforce or allow an official policy.
One day some of you 1Aers will come to this realization and accept it. Sadly, a whole new slew will come over with the same garbage right behind you.

You're right. This is NOT 1a and 1a ideas and practices will work about as well on the FFA server as FFA practices work on the 1a server.

Most times, the attempt to apply either philosophy on the opposing server will get you an ass beating.

"NBK Syndrome" is apparently his pejorative terminology to describe those who honestly object to self-farming because they feel it's detrimental to the server.

Unfortunately for him, I DON'T object to self farming, but I get a case of the ass when people brag about being great when they do it and insult "legit" players and clans. I personally don't care who does it, but when even ONE arrogant fluffsucker lords himself over the crowd and does it, I have a problem.

For reasons sort of in line with NBK's philosophy but mostly not, I adopted the same policy they have. I don't want you or any member of NBK to misunderstand me here. Dragon - if you actually do a good job with your no-landtrading style, I'll give you the respect you deserve. Fact is, ESD struggles to even make 75m anw. Highrock put up 123m anw without self-farming as a 1 man tag in basically her only set on FFA. I respect her for that. Tell me, have I ever insulted highrock?

I've 'insulted' you because of your incompetence, not because you are legit. I 'insulted' PANLV and TKO as well, by calling their netting crappy, too. But why aren't they upset? It wasn't meant as an insult, the problem is, you took it as one because you had too much pride and arrogance. PANLV and TKO don't have pride about their past netting accomplishments. I don't have pride about my netting last set either. Since I played last set, I targeted myself as well with the 'same crappy netting FFA has always seen' insult.

Why did you take my comment personally? I wouldn't have made it if I thought you were actually proud of those 66m anw finishes you put up. I didn't realize that you were naive enough to believe that ESD was a great netting alliance, and that Mercs was spoiling your delusion, and that you'd snap because of it.

I liked you, and I respected you, and I thought that if you believed that ESD would compete with Mercs in TNW and ANW this set like you claimed they would, that you'd be doing better than you did in previous sets.

In the thread you created on July 6th, I told you we were fairly confident we'd break the ANW record, it was more a question of how much we'd break it by. If we're going to break the ANW record, and you're going to compete with us in TNW, putting up your typical 60m to 75m anw isn't going to cut it. You said "I hope you guys can stay out of wars for the set. I want to hand your Azzes to you in ANW and maybe even TNW. ;)"

From the way you talked in that thread, I thought you guys were going to step it up. I genuinely thought that you'd agree with the 'same crappy netting' comment I made, because I thought you guys were going to put up some good countries this set. Even just a week ago, you said "OH. And all those countries with Casino names? Those are JP's. At a guess, multiply their current NW by about 7 or 8."

Those countries were about 18-20 million networth when you said that. You gave me reason to believe that Jade Penn would be putting up about 140m networth per country. If you had one guy putting up 140m anw in your tag, and Tin Man reached 100m anw like he expected, then your tag would be doing far better than before. Tin man had 1.4 billion bushels in one country all the way back on July 6th.

You gave me indicators that ESD would compete with Mercs, that it would do way better than before. With all the indicators I was given, ESD was not going to be doing the same crappy 60m to 75m anw finishes it had done in past sets, it would be able to do 100m+ this set with ease.

With that in mind, I made the comment about 'the same crappy netting'. I didn't mean to offend you, I genuinely believed that ESD was going to be doing much better this set than past sets.

I screw around on 1a and don't take it seriously. I don't mind it when people insult my netting there. There's nothing wrong with not playing seriously and just taking it easy. There's nothing wrong with FFAers doing that.

You can ask anyone in LaF about whether or not I take 1A seriously. I played TMBR in 1a last set, thats how little I care about the server. I screw around probably as much as anyone on the alliance server. But I don't get offended if someone calls me out on not playing seriously.

I roll with a different group of friends than you. Honesty is far more valuable among my group of friends than it is among yours.
