How is this a blindside? You seen it coming, you went with a Laf country theme and made your tag 'Evodiez'. So you obviously knew you would be smashed and all killed at the hands of laf before the set started.
I'm not in Evo, so I can't respond as "you" but I guess Evo made the mistake of trusting a LaF pact. There were plenty on both sides who wanted a war, and I imagine if they talked about it (or even just not pacted, that wouldn't have been hard), it would've been a great 1v1 where both sides could have had equal numbers and prep, but as it stands, yes, this is the definition of a blind side. A war-prepped alliance breaks the uNAP and FS's the other alliance who is in a netting set with no war techs.
I don't know what "secret details" LaF sent to the Evo leadership, but this pact was renewed this set AND LaF was war-prepping from the start... so it all smells like bullfluff dreamed up by LaF as an excuse to get in a war with Evo the only way they thought they could win.
