And no, you don't get a double whammy.

"a whole of cash and food". My startup was pretty much very well funded. I don't even think I explored OOP that set. I had the cash to jet up and start grabbing right out of the gates.

It was a late start and I was just messing around. I probably grabbed 1000A on my first LG. I wasn't even up to 1000A myself. Now that I think of it, that was a fun set. I played tyr techer and all I teched was warfare. I'll let yu conclude what I did with that.

Not necessarily, back in E2025, I once saw a top feeder with ZERO defence and a whole of cash and food, I had just come OOP, I grabbed the fluff out of him since I was a tyranny. Plus, that 14 acres doesn't account for ghost acres.

He said he had $3B stock on hand 2 WHOLE days before the end of the set, in EXPRESS and after that, he kept growing. You do the math.

@Rockman, what do you mean if you get topfed, then go to war? If I was to "topfeed" you and you went to war with me you think that would stop me from topfeeding you the next time I choose to want your land? If I topfeed you I win, I get the land, and the self gratitude that I broke you. If you choose to go to war for it, guess what? The turns you would need to play to ruin my set ensures you ruin your set.

By mavs definition of topfeed, he means if I recognize his name and know that he is a good player I should not hit him cos since I already know he is a good player, I should obviously know he will retal.

In my definition of topfeed, it is when a 2000A $2M NW country hits a 10KA $10M country just to mess with them.

I do not believe I topfed mav. I was a 2.4KA $700K dem high on weaps and milstrat, I saw a 7KA $800K theo casher fat as hell and was never hit (How nobody hit him, is beyond me). I hit me gaining about 40% in land sending less that 50% of his defence losing about half of what he lost in the grab. He retalled, lost a whole lot more than I did, and still bounced. And sent me messages crying about how I was the devil out to get him. If that is topfeeding, guess what I ain't going to stop. If I do hit you at some point in the future and you choose to go to war, big whoop, you lose, just for the fact that you deviate from your strategy, you lose. And a few days later, a new round begins.

I will almost always be land tight. I will almost always take more from a country I hit than they would from a retal and vice versa (unless they are indeed a topfeeder).

If I was genuinely a topfeeder, I would be going to town with the fat commies and fat theos every set, and yet I don't.

I hate playing under GDI and almost always go out of my way to avoid joining it. I also know that bottomfeeders will need to adjust their military make up to retal me. And when they do and in the case when I have allied with 133tz, Rob, mdemon, herbs, etc, when they see what I send to grab a bottom feeder and see the retal, they have in the recent past followed up with grabs on the bottomfeeder, and guess what, you lose (You can check my past histories and see how a countries generally just went away after I hit him cos peole see the news and "go get 'em boys").

The reason I like this game is it's a wild life out there. You slip up and get crippled, and don't try and recover on time, you are done.

If you didn't care, you wouldn't be "tempted every 30 minutes" to care if you were hit or your stuff sold. That's the entire point. You wouldn't have to force yourself by self deleting.

If you really didn't care, you would be checking the ranks tomorrow to ask "Whatever happened to that country I created in Express?"

Oh yes you care.

The guy that played Alabama Crimson Tide cared less than you did. He stopped playing and his country got farmed. You cared enough to make sure your country didn't get farmed.

If I used the name to do evil on others, I would understand why it would be such a bad thing.

I typically have played Demo since I restarted playing, and as a techer, I typically rather not waste turns grabbing a hundred countries. So with weaps and mil strat, I pick a few targets and try to get to my land goal.

What's wrong about that?

I also only had one OA, and mdemon can vouch me on that. I remember he was asking me to get to 1 million jets so he could go on a land grabbing fest. I certainly was not 1.5 million jets.
The Nigerian Nightmare.

He was sitting on about 1.5M turrents when I hit him. I broke him with about 700K jets, I can't remember the numbers for sure, but I know I sent less than half his defence.

This round was bad for me cos I was in a war, had a lot of my cash stolen, got ABed, and you wouldn't believe the damage bioterrorism and poison in the waterways does to a techer with 0 medical tech when you are trying to recover from ABs. I lost about 50% of my population before my scientist, (who I promptly fired) found a cure.

So if you are whining about getting grabbed, I have no words for you.

I hit him and he retalled and bounced, I guess that answers your question.

And if this whiner cannot win this set, I'm would be incredibly dissapointed. Cos when I hit him, he was looking pretty good even back then. And then he got a ton more acres. So he better win.

My money is on him not winning though, I already kinda know who will take it. And I told him that ingame.

This is a war game with different individuals that have differing reasons for playing the game and possibly in different sets.

Last set I played strictly to war, this set to net, but like all the different aspects of the game, I had a bunch of very negative random things happen.

I have all the sad messages you sent me after I hit you crying about how I ruined your set and life sucks and I should also ruin everyone's set all because of one hit.

How many threads did you create this set alone about how the world sucks and life suck and the world hates you every time some hit you?

I bet if someone really wanted to get you, you would go with the wind and quit, real quick.

Alabama Crimson Tide hit 133tz and has lost over 5K acres as a result.

People take this GAME waaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously! All set long he goes about hitting everyone, their uncles, and their dogs. One good retal, and 133tz, that was a beauty of a retal, one GREAT retal, and he gives up! Sad. Hope he doesn't give up at life like that.

Topfeeding is hitting someone that is significantly higher in NW than you are. It has nothing to do about bouncing retals. Anyone can hit anyone in this game especially in express with it's high turns rate (this is why AndrewMose can come in 2 days after with 360(360) turns on hand as a republic and feel confident he will retal countries that are currently in the top ten).

The beauty about topfeeding is a tyranny, demo, or dictator with high weapons and military strat sitting on 10K acres can topfeed a country sitting on 20K acreas for 2.5K acres with ghost acres, that can be a 3.3K-4K gain in land with a single hit. After playing your turns/buying defence and you are in range or higher in NW and get retalled, they get 1.5KA, if they break you.

@Grimm, there is a high speed alliance server? I didn't know that, let me go create an account over there.

I only play express, and quite frankly, I don't know if I now would have the patience for any other server.

Take my suggestion for what it is, all I can say is that I now know I have a work around on a GDI country that hits me and I am not satisfied with my retal.

The point of this whole thread was to report a "bug" that a GDI country can still be suicided on. Now we have admins, mods, and devs, swinging their fluffs about the place all high and mighty. Can't get dumber than that.

Ok then, let me break it down for you kids before I have to ruin someones set.

Country A is in GDI.
Country B is not.

Country B hits Country A, 500 A
Country A retals Country B, 900 A
Country B RoR Country A, DH
Country B ABs Country A.

Is this possible? Or does the clock only start ticking after Country A hits Country B twice?
