It would take around an hour to use a snow blower to clear my driveway if I was ambitious, 1.5 hrs if I was (am) a lazy azz. Much easier to have my plow guy do it in 20 minutes long after Ive gone to bed or before I get up.

Oh and by the way, we got 4 more inches of snow today.......And the weather underground site says 60% chance of more tonight.

Started snowing 10 AM and is finally tapering of within the last hour. 8 to 10 inches of snow from this storm. The plowed snow at the top of my driveway is 12 to 15 feet.

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 am EST
Wednesday...

* hazard types... heavy snow.

* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 6 to 12 inches.

* Timing... snow will gradually taper to snow showers from
southwest to northeast and likely end before midnight.

* Impacts... slippery... snow-packed roads and sharply reduced
visibilities.

* Winds... north 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Temperatures... in the lower 20s.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of
snow are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in
an emergency. If you must travel... keep an extra flashlight...
food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

Off the top of my head, I honestly don't remember the conversation but........

I was paranoid about spies and was always on a witch hunt. Potomac gave me an access db with IP and personal data on most of the major players that I was constantly adding to. This was back when clan sites had IP next to each thread post. I don't remember specifically when or which tag so I guess failed that test.

re: the favorite car thing. My very first string of countries were named based on my job. I'm an outside sales rep for an auto parts company so I named them ACDelco, Motorcraft, Chevy, Ford etc and Fiat. Fiat finished on top at the end of the set so.....tada, I took the site name of Fiat when I joined HOMER.

Changed to Uncle Fiat years later when my sister had my nephew.

My favorite car would most likely would have been a BMW 2002, because that's what I had back then.

And with all the time that has passed, its not like I remember all the details anyway.

And I doubt many of us are the same people that we were back in the day.

I hear you but its always more fun killing with a full set of countries versus what they left you with.

I'm guessing you were light on troops this early in the set and they took advantage of that fact based on the GS kills. Plus no food on the market made it hard to cash turns.

Were they behind all the food being bought off the market? Interesting tactic if it was one of the two.....

Yes, Last time I stopped by primeval was using my name or a variation of it.......not sure if he admitted to it, I just had a feeling it was him. But again, anyone that knew me back then would have known I wouldn't be in or helping IMP based on old rivalries between USIMP and IMP.

I didn't know patriot nor do I ever remember talking with him.......except his young guy over enthusiasm on the boards.

I don't ever remember talking with crippler so no secrets there. I think we were in a war chat together but nothing beyond a basic greeting in the war chat.

I remember having lag do foreign affairs issues with you because I couldn't without getting pissed off and she had a way of talking to you that I didn't.

I remember CC and I co-leading USIMP for a bit but we didn't get along and he left for UCF for a while.

I played with Guar is USIMP.

That's someone patriot never played with in USIMP, and Guar was from somewhere in massachusetts.

Patriot was IMP (I believe - what was laguardia's son's name in game?) so he wouldn't have known him except the back and forth on the boards during wars. Guar was the war leader - or whatever it was called back then for USIMP.

And someone posted that Raz is using the RaTS name?

Whats that about...didn't get along with raz for a bit......Only i would know about a problem we had....

We were all so much younger and at different parts of our lives back in the day.
Whats everyone up to these days?
I know its more interesting to brag about your countries, how many countries you killed etc or how they finished but I'm more interested in hearing how the people I used to play with and against are making out.
I noticed in some threads about players getting married and having kids, new jobs etc.
Anyone care to fill me in on how your doing along those lines?

I remember going back and forth with you on the boards but don't remember the war or that thread.

2004 --- wow.

I did use the <evil grin> thing occasionally so it looks familiar.

A couple years ago I stopped by and Primeval (I believe) was using my name on the boards and in-game and was trying to revive IMP.

Anyone that I played with back in the day knew I would never play with or help run IMP.

I do remember running a contest to see how many people we could get into the IMP site and who could get the highest rank within IMP. We had more spies than they had members in their site for a bit. To be fair, it was during a period of decline for IMP and most of the heavy hitters were away from the game.

If I remember correctly he and another player were flirting with & chasing one of the female players ( Lady F something), one of the old leaders / main leaders of IMP.

His name escapes me. Anyone remember the name of the guy that used to run IMP?

She was flirting with both or dated one, I can't remember.
