BigBoi,

FFA is a community. Most of the rules and policies are in place, because the clans of FFA as a collective whole agreed that these policies are best practices. Although each clan may differ a little, as a general outline, we are all the same.

Think of FFA as swimming in a piranha tank. The rules and policies are here to help you avoid getting devoured.

It was something that was discussed in chat, and then right to start saving turns. A few of us had full turns and was able to make a few last minute adjustments before saving for 120(120).

This wasn't something that we in any way believed Ares was going to take NBK by surprise and prove our greatness. We knew before announcing to save turns that we would get squashed. This was a chance for us to play in the battle field with NBK.

The best part is, there are no egos, points to prove, or hard feelings. This is a good, clean, fun war.

To explain the missile issue a little better...
If missiles were allowed to be used to retal, then we have an issue where someone may try to Sabotage Missiles to block a missile retal.

Considering most FFA clans are here for war, this would take away a very valuable asset just so that someone can try and grab without being missiled for the retal.

It's best to just say "Missiles not acceptable method of retaliation".

I think Warster sums it up well.

Also, be carful about using spy ops.

Clans tend to accept the following ops:
Spy
Spy on Alliances
Military Spy

These are normal ops to gather information before attempting a grab.
Anything else will more then likely result in all countries involved being dead with in 48 hours.

Eg:
If you try to Demoralize or Cause Dissension to increase your chances of a successful grab. All countries involved will more then likely be added to the defending clan's death list. Further more, if they consider your string to be a threat (This will most likely happen), all of your countries will also be killed to reduce future hostile actions.

FFA is full of good people and good players. FFA is also extremely war torn, and that is how we like it here.

This should give them a nice chance to catch their breath, regroup, and maybe do something. Rather they do or not, doesn't matter. Ares came into this set for war, and none of the things we wanted to kill were available. Then we felt bad for NBK...

No, the picture was taken from my barn. I set up out there to get away from the kids and girl. About a year ago, they realized I was spending a lot of time out here, so they started exploring. Now it's a gaming center were we hang out every weekend and do LAN parties and play loud music...

As for the drawing, I was piss drunk, and trying to explain to my girl (Who was watching me play Earth) how a game with no graphics can be interesting. There you are...Figured I would snap a pic and post it.

It was more then 12 hours.

When our member reached 400 I called the KR off. I came back 14 hours later and your country was back to 64k pop, and more then twice the defense.

Without tabs and thin on turns and readiness, I hit and killed in about 5 minutes only making about 200 hits...

There is your 600..

You were the dominate force in this war. IFU had the advantage. But now, the playing field has been...leveled out a little, and we got ourselves a weapon to match IFU's. Until now, you've had no resistance in this war.

It can be easy to sometimes forget to tag up, with the excitement of a KR only moments away. IFU commonly "forgets" to tag up before hitting as well...

Ssew, I do believe you. BC shows you tagged straight from CC to IFU. When looking closer, the date and time is extremely questionable. I hold BC with little faith in accuracy this set.

Difference is that Ares accepted the new string after a 72 hour detag.

IFU, however accepted a new string directly from already tagged status.

Please, if you are not able to follow agreed guidelines, please do not point your finger at those who do...
