Doesn't really seem like a question to me. Silver clearly posted content from the MD site and the responses from other RD members looked a lot like "business as usual". I don't know how many in RD knew about how the access was obtained, but the culture of RD is to cheat, infiltrate and influence. It's well known and serious enough that MD kept sensitive information off boxcar well before this scandal broke.

I'm sceptical about change, but I'll wait to see what they say.

If the motivation for the hacking was to further the goals of an alliance, doesn't deleting the entire tag seem justified to deter it from happening in the future? There are lots of RDers who are innocent. It doesn't change the fact that there are hundreds more people who were innocent and had a much more serious action take place against them.

Since I've been in MD we attacked iMag only one time. And it was because SoF called our killing one iMag country who ran 50+ harmful ops against us a "First Strike" and informed us that in 24 hours both tags would attack us.

Honestly, MD isn't huge and we have a very, very active irc, skype and website. Everyone I've convinced to come on over has found it very fun and fit right in. If you're willing to come be part of an alliance who enjoys warring and netting, this is the place to be.

That's a good point. Most wars are early I figure and in order to get the tech needed to do well and keep it for your next restart I figure a techer would be an attractive option. But I haven't thought this through much :P
