I think the problem is hanlong, that you reduced the font size of the "NO POSTING ON AT" post from 100 to 20 something. This means the validity of the post is reduced from 100% to 20% for some people. Or is it just me being confused since empirically it seems to work that way? :)

Join LaF! While dagga is correct that we are a war alliance, this is only while I am doing FA (which hasn't happened for at least 8 years, and is unlikely to ever occur again), and we have crack teachers. If you want to apply yourself, you can learn the most from us.

Your original idea is more akin to how you might do it in C (or any other non-OO language).

You need to "visualize"/group distinct objects in your design, that contains associated data for those object. I.e. a "car" object would contain objects such as "tyre", "door", "window". You would NOT describe the world as a set of all tyres discrete from all doors etc. if you have a car object. That makes no sense from an object oriented point of view.

This is very basic OO, so if you can't understand the reasoning behind this kind of abstraction, either your course material sucks, or you need to read up on it more (no offense).

I'd say every number that can be represented by the regular physical and quantum state of all particles that can have a quantum state/location/temperature/etc. is valid, because techically we could make all of reality a representation of one big-ass number. Which would be quite big (at least larger than what you wrote up there I think)

Depends on how much you want to mess up your view.

At our local uni, they a kind of twisted wire, with small barbs (not "normal" barbed wire, smaller barbs") that is rolled like a spiral and placed on where the pigeons would sit. Works pretty well. Better than spikes, because they can usually find a way to sit between those.

It doesn't look too beautiful tho...

I support something like this. However, I think there should be a third declaration option, or "challenge" could be a bit harsher. I.e. I'd like to see a hostile option that gave 48h notice, and "no" is not an option.

I think all of these declarations should be logged publicly somewhere for the players to see, not just involved parties.

Seriously though, I really like your suggestions. It could definately improve the dynamic of the war portion of this game. I don't like the part about not being able to grab alliances at war though. I think it should be possible to feed off alliances at war, especially to foster future conflicts. I also think it leaves too much room for abuse (ie. two tags declare war because they want to be immune to grabs for a while).

I agree with Servant. I'm wondering what the original ratinale was to up the turn rate and the storable turns so much? I was away for some years while e2025 transformed into ee, so could someone enlighten me?
