I think it's pretty cool since it changed some market dynamics over the set. Might be unbalanced, but just about everything that shakes things up while letting everyone do it is a plus to me because it keeps things interesting.
I was on the original Star Citizen kickstarter. I have pledged for a Super Hornet and later for a Banu in the 2 year anniversary sale. Not sure if I want to play the game or if I should sell my kit. This looks like a game that can take over your whole life ;)
Well, when even fast food workers get replaced by robots we are going to have to start think of new ways of giving people income since there just won't be enough conventional jobs to go around... Personally I'm all for the community service for benefits idea.
You don't really need one nowadays tbh. We have chat built into our site. (based on mibbit I think, you can just use something like mibbit.com if all else fails)
Well, republicans say that net neutrality regulation is bad for a free and open internet. That it won't be free if companies can't have paid discrimination of data transfer. That makes me ::vomit::
For say that life should be more free, it seems to me republicans just want to serve Corporate or fundie Christian interests...
As long as you can buy influence with money to rig the system to make you always win if you are in the top .1% of people civilization will never be even remotely just. I'm all for people getting compensated for their contributions to society, and that they can leave some of their wealth for the children. I'm not for individuals having the wealth of hundreds of thousands and the influence of millions.
Why? Because while most people are decent human beings, there is significant portion that are total assholes and psychopaths. When this is someone who has the influence and resources of hundreds of thousands of others that person can do massive damage to society. If no one has that much power it's more likely that the more reasonable majority of humanity can build a better civilization for all.
Pipe cleaners need carding? Wow... when I was a kid we used to use them to build fancy stick men and animals and stuff. Didn't know we were using breaking the law by using adult-only items ;)
