noooo... fun of team is the chaos that other servers have lost... maybe i'm old school, but to me it decreases the impressiveness of a high NW finish if you are just farming bots and not dealing with retals and evading getting killed!

Interesting... but I consider a "top" player one that can netgain AND war... pure netgaining according to many of you is just farming newbies and whining when you get retalled hard or suicided on for FARMING or killed by another alliance that wants to take #1 or is sick of your farming tactics.

One of the coolest parts of this game (and most frustrating sometimes I agree) is to figure out how to acquire land WITHOUT pissing everyone off and to be able to keep it via diplomacy or strength... To expect everyone to just sit back and watch you farm and netgain in "peace" is stupid

So I had a couple questions... I landgrabbed someone that was trying to act like a bot - ate a nuke in return - and am 2.9mil nw and "he" is 5.2...

I can't send a missile, do an AB, sabotage his missiles, or even steal tech (which the GDI desctiption says is even ok for GDI countries). It keeps saying I have to declare war because he is GDI, yet there isn't even a declare war option in the war room?

1. for a nuke I should be able to do whatever I want to him even though he is GDI (I am not btw)?

2. Shouldn't I be able to at least steal tech from GDI country?

3. How do you declare war in Express?

4. Does he "one missile" somehow only count as "one attack"?

I do know - but NEW players wouldn't have a clue how to search out an alliance... and I started really late and was just curious how it was working....

We are referring to getting NEW players to want to stay around and like the game and join alliances aren't we? So why would you funnel them to other servers? that doesn't make any sense to me... and I know plenty well the advantage of non tags for the land we need to netgain in Alliance, so I know this is a complicated observation I made...

I agree with this... I played lots years ago and since there was so many players back then it wasn't a big deal... but any "new" player that tries to learn this game gets quickly sick of it and quits before they can get addicted with the uncontrolled farming...

y'all won't get new players to stick if you keep farming untagged ones so bad.... ya, I know you need land, so not sure how many people would look at the longterm value of this, but it's a valid point...

How about you RECRUIT untagged ones to your tag and train them instead of FARMING them? I played approx 3 weeks of last reset untagged and then in a bogus tag and actually ended up with a respectable rank and didn't get ONE SINGLE recruitment message....
