Interesting. So the 3,320 land I gained from the attacks starting on the 24th meant I spent more money building it up and on jets / military upkeep etc than I gained from the extra land? That could quite possibly be the case.

Honestly, the warfare tech was because I thought #125 might keep DHing me all set and I wanted to get some missiles just so I could waste him lol. I got it early.

I didn't get up to 174% bus/res because I figured it'd get pretty expensive to get that last 10% and wasn't sure it was actually worth it? (I didn't calculate it obviously!)

The weapons tech is because it got to a point where it was cheaper to buy tech than buy more jets to retal the people that hit me, plus it makes it less expensive in expenses for the rest of the set (need 30% less military).
The military strat was because it was cheap, like 1500 and I got it just before I started retaling.

The fact that he's DH'd every attempt makes me think it's a troll.
I've lost over 100k turrets every attack while he only loses ~30k tanks.

If he continues that every 2 hours... I'm losing a ton of money lol

Someone cruise missiled me early in the set when i had 0 military and forgot GDI.

I promptly joined GDI and then they DHd me with their all tank/troop combo. I grabbed them back and got a message saying "you can't retal a DH", then they DHd me again...

If I hit him back again do I break GDI?
I feel like I'm being trolled and he wants me to break it so he can just AB the hell out of me.

Just to be clear, I am #49 and I have no connection with #118.

I have no idea why he hit me but he got me down to around 100 acres (98 cs and 2 spare) before I picked up again this morning.

I left myself yesterday on around 500 acres with no military which I *thought* would be fine, since who would bother grabbing for the same as they could explore for? My name probably caused him to attack me tbh, oh well.

Retals against me will be just as damaging and the DR will wear off in 18 hours or so anyway so I can't have low military for long.

Does anyone know an up to date battle calc for earth empires?

I've been using the one here: http://members.tripod.com/...-bin/battlecalculator.cgi

However, several times over the last few days it's completely fluffed me over by saying I would break when I wouldn't.
I'm not talking about just being over the threshold or what have you... I put the stats into the calculator exactly to see what would break someone for retal on team, sent 500k more jets than that and still got a DH (I counted defensive allies as having 10m troops/turrets/tanks).

I also just went to grab someone in tourny and shoud've been over by a good few hundred thousand jets but got DH'd.

What do?
Anyone got a calculator that actually works?

Ok I didn't join GDI (by accident), but because I didn't I get someone wasting everything just to ruin my set when I never even hit him? Why is that even allowed?

They are blatantly top player's 2nd/3rd/4th accounts which they use to screw over anyone they can that might "threaten" their top positions.

Fyi I'm one of the people Astrix just retaled. Just think it's a bit harsh that he gets 1.3kA more than I got and then calls it "even" lol
