Without looking I can name almost every country in africa. With a map and borders (no names) in front of me I can get them all. Don't ask me to name all the capitals though.. I can't do that.

Most people will get: Egypt - CAIRO, Algeria - ALGIERS, Morocco - RABAT, Libya - TRIPOLI, tunisia - TUNIS, South Africa - PRETORIA/CAPE TOWN/BLOEMFONTEIN, Ethiopia - ADDIS, Sudan - KHARTOUM (Juba for South), Kenya - NAIROBI, Tanzania - DODOMA (not DAR!) right away.
Because of Ebola also Ivory cost, liberia, and Zaire (or DPRC or whatever they want to be called now).

I can find the ones I want to visit though easily enough along with Missouri:P.

And yes, we largely live off the exploitation of the 3rd world although it's not necessarily 100% that. Although our trade policies have done a lot of harm, they have actually massively increased the development level of many of these countries along with their living standards.. just not in the most equitable, humane, or environmentally friendly way.
