finally someone who knows what's talking about. =D i agree. but i also agree with blid, it doesn't hurt to have teams of 5 fighting each other and not alliances over several tags, and as h2o says, so long as team isnt moderated, it's really not worth playing here. just treat this server as a sandbox to try out strategies, or band together and get the mods to either recode it into a fairer "team" playing field, or start moderating. i'd prefer the former, since it'll be less work say if the server were to be changed to include the following rules:

* tags can only use special attacks when at war with other tags
* tag leaders have a war dec page to dec war on a certain other tag for min 1 week
* tags can only be at war with 1 tag at a time
* bonus returns when declared war

that way wars can be constrained a bit more and allow teams to retaliate 5v5 instead of 5x5v5 =P

Other than as a suicider, I think TSO has succeeded in ending my team server career. I don't get why you guys are trying to drive everybody off the server. Guys I used to respect have gone full retard over this fluff.

The first several sets of war, TSO got crushed because they weren't very good. But eventually they got superior numbers as people ended up quitting over it, and now they can succeed by first striking 4 player tags with their cross-tag 20 man team

Yeah, afaik asked me to come help a few sets back. I tell you what, that was the easiest set I ever played on any server. Talk about farming till my hearts content.

well with the rules and level of moderation now, that's pretty possible to do. but i reckon, they cant ruin the whole server for the whole set if you have enough tags around. so you can still net a bit, or you could band together and kill TSO off for good before you go back to netting, that's always an option. TSO only has like 20 countries. if you can crush them before, you can probably crush them until they quit. =)

That's not true because it's already been tried. TSO got beat several sets in a row (keep in mind, this is the 6th set).

TSO can't net so all they enjoy doing is warring. They don't mind ruining other people's sets since they have nothing else to do and will continue to do so until there is real team server moderation.

We stood up and fought with equal numbers and guess what?? team NON TSO WON comfortably! Team Non TSO proved what they had to (by demolishing TSO) and have now moved on, TSO on the other hand well?? I can not work out what they are trying to prove?? They win with superior numbers? They can kill a country over 1 land grab? They can kill untags? They can kill 1 man tags for no reason? Maybe you guys can form a new team on alliance? But be warned, you guys would be wiped off the floor real quick as there are alliance your size and they do fight back something you guys struggle with.

So much crying for a group that started the series of wars that we're now stuck in. If you didn't want to war then you shouldn't have hit us. If you wanted to end the conflict then you should have tried to work things out.

ingle, i dont mean 1 beat down. i mean like if you start a coalition and dont back down after 1 set. just as soon as TSO attacks anyone without cause, everyone turns around to wipe them off the server. with these numbers, you dont even need to war prep. or you can become the suppressor, and just war them till they quit.

Let's look at the history.

- You don't see much of TSO's tags (Cypress, Virgins, Judges, COLO), clear domination of top NW netting tags

- Again, you don't see much of the SEX tags, they are all at the bottom, clear domination of top NW netting tags

- Same scenario as above, you see SEX in the bottom half of the list, clear domination of top NW netting tags

- There are less and less netting tags. You can still see the TSO tags at the bottom, but not a lot of high ETFT tags either anymore

You don't see many tags anymore (18 tags left) from previous (26-30 tags). Why? Most of the netters have left because of TSO. TSO did get beaten down but they still want to keep fighting/killing, so the netters are driven out of the server.

This is the 6th reset of this outstanding feud. TSO got beat down the first 3 sets pretty badly, the 4th/5th set were closer to draw/stalemates and now the current set has no real fighting competition.

Beating down a tag that doesn't care about netting does nothing to them. They'll just fight again the next set. Not to mention the restart rule changes have made it even more beneficial for warring tags (set 4 and onwards). The netters already proved the point, they won several sets and when they wanted to go back to netting they couldn't.

not to say that everything u said is false or correct, but in set 1 ingle. it was 9 vs 4 in terms of tags.. and i know this cause we had 4 tags and we FS'ed the tpa guys who had 4 tags as well, then u guys jumped on board. and i do firmly believe our activity lvl that set.. TPA would have turned it around completely and beat us.. and all this hoopla would have never been started nor continued.. i guess more or less the numerous warring sets that has occured and is currently occuring is due to u guys jumping us while already at war in a pretty even war.. that my old clan buddy in TSO (yes folks he was in TSO as was alot as of other guys who spout off about us) is probably the biggest reason this war is still going on.. if u guys wanted a piece of us. u should have gotten it the following set.. not jump on top of us to ensure a win knowing us being warmongers wouldnt just let it slide

And yes, in Set 1, TPA was helping and they had 4 tags. However, we were killing more than 4 tags worth of countries in the first set:

In set 2 however, it was TSO membesr who started it by ABing netters right out of protection.

The untagged countries who were war prepping and the DYNOS tag (also war prepping) all planned on fighting, and those were the countries we killed. Stop pretending to be the victim and crying for sympathy, it's getting really old.

Did ETFT FS first? Let's look at the news. Obviously the server is small enough that there isn't anywhere you can hide. There has been a steady drop in players since October (158 players) now down to 118. When you see 40/160 players disappear, you know there's a problem (granted that there are probably some players from both sides disappearing).

Shady, you're extremely uneducated. Doctors require patients of those types of surgeries to do quite a bit of work both before and after the surgery. If the patient doesn't take any steps to better their habits (eating and activity) you won't qualify for it in the first place.

One of my good female friends is a nurse who works on those types of cases, some of them heavier than boltar ever was. The procedures exist in the first place to help save lives.

You FS'd ETFT and killed 2 of our countries before you even started warring TPA. You also killed a seawolf member iirc so us "jumping on board" was actually each tag individually defending themselves after you stupidly decided to try and war us all at the same time.

You subsequently got your ass handed to you for several sets running and got all butthurt about it...

Now you're spewing lies again to try and convince people that history is as you would like to rewrite it (with yourself as - get this - the victim!! haha!). This started as you vs half the server because you attacked half the server, you rewrote it into you vs just ETFT as you'd bitten off more than you can chew. ETFT aren't playing now you're trying to rewrite it again to excuse your persecution of (whoever it is you're killing now -untags by the sound?)

Seriously, the players leaving the server and game stuff is worrying for the game, regardless of personal disputes. There needs to be a balance to all things, including netting v warring or TSO vs netting or whatever it is you pretend justifies your latest actions.

lol iscode, what is wrong with the farmers? i've personally won 2 servers with farmers (one of my least played strats) but calling them dirty is a little low. I would say they are inferior in most circumstances aside from late game primary or protected alliance games. certainly not a good one in this server - ask trainboy, he tried fasc farmer many times and only really got t10 potential when he should have been t3 based on his quality of play.

also, does killing all the newbies running untags encourage them to play? that's like your business model or something.. sure it helps them grow into the game at a considered pace, like, well, like ETFT do for new players :)

Tso hasn't killed any untagged newbies, just untagged etft countries :) well you could argue some of them are n00bs, but I don't think that's very nice

vamps, there were genuinely 3 ETFT countries playing this set, 1 of which didn't come oop or play. i think you need to reassess your intel!
