were multis unchecked back in the day? i remember playing with friends in school back in 1999 - 2000ish and we all played in the same internet cafe. we all should have the same IP but none of us ever got deleted. we never even applied for safelisting.

some of the fluffers even had multis (i only borrowed their spy countries, didnt make my own) but no one got deleted for rules violations.

im glad the mods are more serious now, saw lots of players get deleted in express and primary. I cant even log in my friends house now, I'm scared fluff of being deleted haha

I only played FFA back in the day, and most sets, I played within the rules and had my clanmates do so, and because of that, my clan was usually between 200 and 400 countries, while most of the clans in FFA were usually 800-3,500 countries. I highly doubt most of them had any more members than I did, but they sure had a lot more countries.

It seems like Mehul had some really outdated ways of trying to catch multis and there was, at most, one sweep for multis per FFA set. As long as you knew how to get around his security (which usually just involved deleting cookies iirc) and survived the first sweep, you were golden for the rest of the set to play however many you wanted.

it was said (joked) that ffa had alpha version of multie detector and alliance and rest had beta version and limited had none (due it was pay to play), user managed/earth council solved most problems but not all.

in alliance rd had ~10 tags with ~30 members and several countries as untagged so .......

yea hit some untagged and next day your country is killed (prolly quicker than nowadays killruns).

Oh yeah. I remember the RD in Earth2025; they were just a massive group of multies under similar tags.

people had bots than ran their multies for them lol

some ran their multies by hand.

I ran four times that... on dial-up LOL.

and some ran 1000+ countries by hand.
