I'm sorry but that, to me, is a terrible choice!

Guess I won't be watching that one...

Anyone else excited/not excited about this choice?

Ben Affleck is a fantastic actor. Sure he has done some absolute fluffe, but look at the movies in particular that he directed/wrote he is brilliant in them.

No but I liked Argo, The Town, Good Will Hunting, Dogma & State of Play. I have never seen either of the movies you mentioned however I have seen my fair share of bad movies that he has been in, but are they bad because of him? Or just bad regardless?

I am glad that this isn't a continuation of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, but they could have continued to have Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. I guess Hollywood needed a big name to attach to the Man of Steel sequel to draw in those women who find Affleck attractive.

Why are you judging the movie before even a second of footage has been done? Oddly I actually agree with KJ for once though. He has done really well in other movies and people have complained about tons of other actors before they did a roll. Heath ledger as the joker got a ton of flack too Req!

But meh Aflac doesn't have a generic face like most of the guys to play the role, where it was easy to forget you knew the guy, and Bale I swear I've seen the guy in a dozen movies and he could come up to me, tell me his name, and I'd never think "oh fluff that's the actor". Aflec is an odd looking guy who you notice because of his unique look. I have a feeling it'll fail because of that.

never, hulk got rebooted few times and superman same thing. its very possible that both (superman and batman) get rebooted before or after jla-movie.

I don't get the rebooting stuff beyond just it costs too much to keep getting the same actors back to do more of the same. Also can we stop selling the freaking origin stories so the the story is new and fresh? We ALL know spiderman was bit by a spider, lets just move past that.

difference being, Heath Ledger was an awesome actor... Affleck is an ok Actor at best.
