I'm proposing this to you for two reasons.

1) to get your mind off work and this game

2) to get your liver on beer

The beer might affect the final product.

several points:
1) I don't accept beer as payment for anything and haven't since 2005.
1b) I know you have access to the same cheap Quebec beer that I do, which cheapens your offer greatly :p
2) "auto score updating and tables and fluff" ...
2a) auto score updating? what scores? your league's games or like a MLB feed? if the former, what is the input into the system? some sort of admin interface I would expect?
2b) tables and fluff? that's kinda vaugue... like standings and statistics? that means there needs to be a system to input stats and/or entire game scoresheets. are there ways to do this efficiently
3) Have you looked out there for other solutions for managing beer league baseball? If one exists, you don't need to reinvent the wheel, eh? :)
4) If I was to build something like this, it would be with a grander vision than one league, but your league could beta test for sure. Since I used to like Baseball and still like beer, I wouldn't be opposed to developing a system used to help manage beer leagues. I've already thought of a few small revenue streams to generate through it. I'd likely get a designer and interaction designer involved too so it looks really tight. :)
5) I've been drinking for so long that I've forgotten how long ago it was. Drinking creates a better final product IMO!

2b) tables and fluff is the only way i know how to describe it. If i had a clue what I was talking about, I wouldnt ask you on an unrelated online forum

3) Yes, there are predesigned "league" sites but I want to distance myself from those leagues. We are one of the oldest leagues in town let alone the province. I want to stay away from cookie cutter sites.


4) I am ok with this. As related to above, if we are the originators then I am ok with it.
