Seen 2-3 of those mass poll questions going around today and it is sad how bad people are at math.

Basically both were similar to;
5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 + 5 - 5 + 5 x 0 = ?

With answer choices of 40,0,20, and 15. Approximately 400k people got it wrong if I count the complete retards who picked 40(10K of them, maybe they are trolling? )

About 150k got it right. It is also sad to read the comments and how sure/insulting people are to those who are actually right :P

i was genuinely wrong before i corrected myself. however, in my defense, one bajillion times two bajillion times zero is indeed zero.

after, where i edited, i followed bedmas and *actually* did math i came to fifteen. i don't troll math, math trolls me the son of a fluff

but yes, i'm going with the early in the morning excuse, too :P

Don't see how anyone thinks this isn't math or is a trick question :P It isn't chemistry, that's for sure :P

Also even if they are kids getting it wrong this was taught at quite the young age and two of my old high school friends got it wrong :(

its because alot of people don't know how to work things out without grabbing their sci calculator at school.

i remember at school, some of my friends needed to use a calculator to add at measurements in wood shop, that's how poorly people are taught these days.
