the last few of these land grabbing suiciders ive seen tend to self delete instantly

so the nbk country randomly gets 31k acres but the others wouldnt have got it back anyway

yeah our guy managed to get a good amount of land before he self deleted. :-)

would be nice to see it changed so you can grab dead countries or countries cant delete that have run turns/attacked/spied in the last x hours

First, I'm against suciding. I have never done it, nor plan on it. But I'm sick of all the rules that protect netters. They have already made spy countries basically worthless, based on spy dr and certain ops that have been changed. Now you want to grab a dead country....just doesn't even sound right.

I think when they delete they pay the price already with the new restart feature they are already way behind.

Besides if I was on line and saw that happen I would have grabbed a bunch too. Figuring that someone would surely kill it. And they would just destroy buildings and drop acres anyway. So the countries grabbed are still not going to get their land back.

This game is already slanted enough toward netters. You would just be fluffing the untagged guys more.

Really sad actually. Every set someone posts what mean guys/gals NBK is, but we are among a very few who don't usually farm small tags and untags.

Not self deleting for 72hrs seems like a good idea to me!

it costs a lot to destroy buildings at high land sizes

and you cant have less land left after dropping than you grabbed in the last 72 hours

if they want to farm to 100k grab 100k then drop 100k they put a lot of effort in

if they start at 3k like they seem to they can only drop 3k if they grab 100k

maybe anyone who self deletes shouldnt be allowed to play another country in the same set

with an exception if you were still in vacation

i dunno about that. if my country were to be AB'd to the fluff and/or maimed beyond repair, i would like to be able to self delete and rebuild from scratch rather than wait for someone to kill me.

if you self delete all you get is 70 turns 100 acres 20k cash

apart from the turns you are almost guaranteed to have more than that in an ab'd country

and if your abd you can drop as much empty land and mil on private as you want to, that leaves only tech you cant monetise immediately

and you can start attacking immediately rather than wait to be oop

the only advantage to self deleting and restarting is anonymity and up to 70 csites, but your likely to have more than 0 csites in your original unless someone spent a lot of turns abing

Ive argued that for about a year now. Just like you cant join gdi or whatever if you attack within 72hrs, make it where you have to wait 72 hrs before you can self delete. But that makes too much sense..........I dont mind the game having suiciders.......but I dont believe raping a country then self deleting is in the spirit of the game at all.

I guess I just feel bad for the untags that get bottom fed. People should play in a tag because they like it there or because they want to. Farming untags and bottom feeding them and then making it so they have 0 recourse does not seem to be in the "Spirit of the game" either.

The players that bottome feed from the protection of a tag should know that there is potential consequence for their entire tag.

I help kill suiciders that attack unprovoked, but there is a difference between crazy over retalling after being farmed and just plain suiciding to be a prick.

If I owned #1404 or #2100 I would be more pissed at the owner of #418-430 than I would be at the suicider. That is once the initial rage wore off :P

You shuold not farm an untag #1 because it is a crappy thing to do #2 so that the untag doesn't do just what this one did to another country in your clan.

Message to UNTAGS:

Don't go vigilante and suicide

Join NBK and avoid being farmed in the first place. :)
