Are there any coalitions these days?

Who has been fighting who lately?

Last set MD+LaF+LCN fsed SOL+RD with a big numerical advantage(80% maybe?), while SoF fsed NA(who hit some on the MD side in the other war and not only SoF, so there was some connection).

As for the politics behind that, I don't know, I'm just a grunt nowadays. That's the biggest thing war wise that have happened i a few sets IMO.

So RD is still around also... same as before?

They are going to FS the strongest alliances!!!

Go after Sanct, they brag about being the best balanced alliance, and I tip my hat, because is probably true :) (or at least pretty close)

Their only bad point is their asshole Retal Policy, and that I have yet to find any other alliance with a policy like that :)

If I join Sacnt you would chain me 3 weeks before set end, and it is still very profitable to make land grabs at that time, the only grabs that suck are the stock hunts late set when everyone is blowing stock.

3 weeks is 21 days = 1638 turns, with is almost half of the set... grabbing during the first 5 to 7 days is most of the time worthless and pisses people off because you ruin their start ups, so LG start to be good as far as 1 week after the set start, and if you play storing turns, 9 days after set start, if you add that to your already silly policy you would end with 30 days of grabbing, in with you will do a max of 20 Midfeeds of similar sized countries in different alliances exchanging land:Land with is the standard policy of Evo,LCN and Country L:L in the case of PDM; Rage and SOL would do 1:1 and don't recognize Topfeeds, and at some Point L:L is also applied to Sacnt.

We could argue that non assholes hits (hitting countries with +20% of your land) are good hits, because the country you hit, if applied L:L would get the land back + Some ghost acres, while getting some Acres + Buildings yourself (mostly Ghost acres), that kind of exchanges are good all the way to maybe 12 days before set end (No ridiculous breaks), you just need a policy dealing with Stock hits, but those would be easily dealt with if the offender offered to have part of his stock on hand so the retal would get 90 or 110% of the initial stock taken.

That is a way for both countries to get land, and if both are playing the same strat (besides techer) is a good exchange even late set.

But whatever, you guys think your policy is good, I don't, so I move on and never hit you guys :P

I know its in caps and all but I can say there is not a single x-Ragnarok player in RD :P

To be more precise, 3 weeks is 3/8 of the total time. It is interesting - if you look at the top 10 of last round, I would guess most of them were grabbing with 3 weeks to go in the set.

While Ruthie was the main figurehead in Rag, she did not account for all of it's members.

As such, she only accounts for HALF the tagged RD countries ;-)
