Hello groovy Guys and Gals...

NBK has adjusted our ‘Land Grabs’ rules to be effective during this new reset..

With the lack of land seen around the FFA server, we needed to adjust the Land grab maxes NBK members can conduct on larger clans, who refuse to defend the land they have.

We have increased the amount of grabs from 5, during 24 hours, to 8 grabs per 24. This may or may not be adjusted again, depending on how the new set plays out.

This ONLY affects clans who have 90 countries or more...

5 grabs per 24 hours on clans bigger than 90 countries, was causing problems and appeared as automatic DNH’s with clans who we have no pacts with, at all.

Also, NBK has a new "End of Set" policy, that addresses the nasty stock hunting problem, that no one likes to see happen to them.

We will stop all land grabbing, 8 days before any given set ends.

it sounds like your saying your site has a tool to automatically switch neutral to dnh when your landgrab limits are exceeded in a 24 hour rolling period

is that right?

if so its a pretty cool feature

I believe boxcar used to have the option of requesting specific tools like that for your alliance with simply msging pang. He may be too swamped with EE to stick to that. and it actually sounds like a cool idea. Setting a 24 hr cooldown feature would be cool as well

If you are unhappy with the lack of land on FFA, why don't you war people for contributing to the lack of land, rather than excessively grabbing those who are not contributing to the lack of land on FFA?

You do realize that our grabs generate ghost acres thus creating MORE land? So our "excessive" grabs are not eliminating land they are CREATING LAND! For a netter I would have expected you to understand this basic principle. On the other hand your suggestion to war those we dont generate much land would in fact reduce land on the server.

You really should keep your mouth closed when talking to war clans. They got nothing better to due than ruin your netting set. And they will have the GREATEST time of there lifes doing it.

huh? the set just started, not sure what you mean. He never mentioned anything about end of the set grabs only that our policy is intended to reduce land on the server which was why I was pointing out the obvious flaw in his statement.

Abusing the game code? Right. You were stockpiling, hiding your stockpile on the market safe from decay. I guess you 'abused the game code', too. Landtrading is not wrong, not any more than exploring to 25k acres is wrong or stockpiling is wrong.

I got 6 top 100s including a top 10. And my personal networth was more than your entire alliance's networth, even though you took 3-4 weeks to fight a war that should have only lasted 1 week.

same as before, 5 hits per 24 hrs but we generally dont hit small tags very often so I wouldn't expect that to be an issue.

Policies work both ways, but I would say they would war you over those hits... Is a double standard, but NBK wants war, so that is the goal of this policy

our new policy is that we will pick our war target based on who retals us the most effectively. So if you want to avoid war then you should retal us with no military tech reps with either half or double the nw of the country you are hitting :) It would also be a good idea to purposely DH about 25% of the hits just to be safe.
