How often do you wash you bed linens?

Just washed mine today and it was gross the water that came from the washer. Funny thing is i washed them not 2 weeks ago and i shower nightly before bed. Im thinking of moving up to a weekly linen schedule.

I think it may be partially to me sleeping with the window open at night to let fresh air in. Maybe the air isnt so fresh?

Anyway im curious how often people think to wash their bedroom linens?

I would think something like 1-2 months between washes, and that's only because the boss says so. If I was alone, it would be MUCH less frequent, and chances are there would be no ill effects either :p

Kidding, I wash probably 1 time a month, although I have several sets and just trade out when I have nothing better to do.

Geez nuk you dont need to wash sheets after sex. Just have sex in other places around the house.

I would say i wash mine once a month. Would love to have them washed every week but the amount of laundry my kids pump out i have a hard time keeping up with that alone. lol

This is the internet; EVERYONE's a virgin. Even if someone claims he/she has a spouse and 4 kids. When it comes down to it, all we really are are packets randomly split up, sent over different routes, and then put back together. And when's the last time you heard of a packet getting laid?

Washed mine yesterday, maybe once a month.. Should be more often occasionally I nap after training, covered in sweat lol. I noticed blood on my sheets yesterday so they got washed.

I do febreeze them and make my bed nicely every time I have a date though lol

See its just me and my girlfriend here so we dont have a fluff load of laundry to do.

I usually do laundry once a week and its only a couple loads tops so its never a huge hassle.

and i make my bed every morning so it stays clean. my bedroom is really dusty for some reason

Every two weeks. Because I have two weeks worth of underwear, two weeks worth of socks, two weeks worth of shirts (but I'll wear the same pants probably 3 or 4 times, unless I get any exercise in them).

monthly....needs to be more in the summer for sure. And with the new water filter I know my stuff is getting cleaner, the city water here is gross! Has iron in it,so brownish ...maybe yours does too and notice it more when doing the wash?

It could also have something to do with how hard or soft your water is, and that could be the scum that you see in the water from the magnesium mixing with the soap.

2-4 weeks, depending.

I'm not to worried about sheets, I change them when I can be bothered, I usually have three sets of linen, so I can change them more often without having to do the laundry. I'm more worried about the discolouration of the wall next to my bed, it looks like a dark shadow of figure.

Hmmm its further down the wall now. I wonder how paint changes colour. Oh its not there now, thats odd. I imagine the room temp must be affecting the wall some how.

Daily. Sometimes at night I feel like I have bedbugs and centipedes crawling all over me, and then I scratch my skin until it bleeds and then I have to wash them again and then I get blood all over the mattress and sometimes I just try to scrub the whole thing clean but I still feel like bugs are eating my face while I dream of electric sheep.

wash my sheets around every 2 weeks. blankets/comforters around every 3 months. i worry more about having a reaction to the detergent. i ain't afraid of damn germs that i've been carrying around for years.

the air might be fresh, but it also might be loaded with pollen.

course, my germs might just be too dang drunk to be able to get together to form an effective attack plan.
