They weren't unprovoked, they did 3 topfeeds. LaF's retal policy is topfeed us 3 times, we farm you for a day and see if you can do all the retals. And if you do harmful spy ops as retal, we'll farm an unrelated country. And if there are any Arabians in your alliance, we'll blame them for starting the conflict.

But most importantly, no matter what.... you must make fun of LT. If you send a retal message to LaF, make sure you call LT an idiot in the retal message. If you whine on AT about us, make sure you blame LT for us being jerks. If you cry on your mommy's shoulder about us, make sure you tell her that LT is a bad bad man.

PS. I find it ironic that everyone fluffed and complained and flamed me re: playing in LaF, but this sort of thing didn't happen on my watch :)

Few points;

Icn didn't pact us, we had them on DNH all set
They grabbed us 5x, our members wondering why they were on DNH
We took them off DNH and they got grabbed back.. More than we expected to happen
We are talking with ICN and I believe we have always come up an agreement with them

If Icn isn't whining, why is PDM

We had ICN on DNH, but their countries (one in particular) felt the need to topfeed us multiple days in a row.

Our response was to take them off DNH. Is 14 hits in 24 hours excessive? Yes, but not all that unexpected given how riled up a lot of members were about "ICN getting to topfeed us but we aren't allowed to grab them".

To quote Spawn (heh), if ICN didn't want something like this to happen, then they shouldn't have "woke a sleeping tiger" heh.

this thread was made in good humor and the true spirit of AT trolling.

seems like two ICNers each 'topfed' (aka grabbed) a LaF country and your response was to farm their tag rather than simply enforcing your L:L policy.

i have no business here except as a troll observer, particularly sensitive to this sort of thing for obvious reasons.

it does seem, though, that 'excessive' is an integral part of LaF aggression doctrine. it's reflected in your pacts, your FA work, and your gameplay. just saying.

I looked through the news too, and most of those hits LaF made on ICN will give ICN good returns as well.

or is that theory that "hits that will give good returns on retals don't count" a sort of one way thing against LaF, since it hurts your argument otherwise? :p

haha, no that would be a reasonable argument if you did a reasonable number of attacks. it's hard to comply with your retal window when you hit them an overwhelming # of times in a short timespan.

at any rate, i'm sure you'll sort this out. i just saw all the hits all over their tag and experienced deja vu.

I have no interest in LaF's grabbing/playing other than laughing about how the anti-LaF whiners whine more now that I'm not actively there to spread the Pang love within LaF.

At least no more than any other Alliance clan :)

I wish I was in ICN to get some of those retals though; many look quite delicious :p

I don't have time to effectively contribute the way I'd like to while getting EE (and Boxcar) stuff done, and EE takes precedence over LaF for me

although I can't really play at all anymore -- even in SoF last set I still ended up writing two new bots and even ran a walling chat.

Well, I wouldn't say positive for the server on the whole (it's best for the server that you focus on making the game better!), but i think was definitely positive in regards to LaF leadership.
