Small(ish) war clan in alliance next round

I'm kinda mulling the idea around -- if I could find about 20ish guys/girls who would like to war next round and we find another small warring clan next round would be fun, no?

Thoughts comments, dirty jokes?

300 countries on this server wouldn't exactly be a "smallish"clan. If you got 15 or 20 people that knew what they were doing and all played 16 countries, you'd pwn the server.

I seen several FFArs try alliance and not fair too well - So I figure about 20 of us could do really well if we war another alliance around 20-30.

I dunno. I just think it would be fun to hammer the top 1a Alliance every reset. Like from just out of protection.

Pick a different one every reset. LaF would be first on my personal list because some idiot recruiter from their Mafia spammed every county I play on every server that's not FFA.

Promise me we hit them first and that the clan has a cool name and I'm in.

What that smells like to ME is that you're looking to help out some 1a buddies by being their junkyard dogs, and I am DEFINITELY not down with that.

If the entire server is not a war target, I'm not interested.

I don't like Alliance. Never have because they instituted a system that victimizes the weak to the benefit of the well-pacted Cadre.

If I have even the slightest chance of making the top countries of the top Alliance in the cadre pay the price for that, I'm all in.

The best thing we could do is make an alliance and pick a target, any target, and kill them as they come out of protection. It's the time when a FS would be most effective because land kills are so much easier.

and almost everyone in 1a i know wants to do things like institute very harsh diminished returns for farming the same country over and over

lots of people want less pacts and want to see a bit more landtrading

and lots of people want to have non player run sources of land

1a'ers really do want to make the server more player friendly

No, I don't believe they DO want to make the server more "player friendly". Because if they DID, things would change.

And obviously, they have NOT changed, and I haven't played this game for 7 years. Basically, there are a select few alliances who decide who will have land and who will not.

Sorry that you happen to be in a clan with a spammer recruiter that pissed me off.

strangely enough i think the clan in 1a with the most land now is LCN, who are pretty decent gainers

but got first striked by imagnum who are a war alliance that wanted to punish thefist who they had had issues with and was merged/hiding in lcn

and now lcn is farming imagnum

apart from that theres quite a lot of alliances all with similar amounts of average land including small 20 member alliances like neofed newmonsters and eevil

The truth is that no player or Alliance in 1a has ever had the balls to try and win a reset based on pure ability.

In fact, Alliance has always been about the clan with the most military clout putting a country at the top, and the truth is that any trained monkey could get #1 in 1a if he had the right backing.

I don't want to hear about how "great" 1a players are because if they couldn't get land fat bottom feeding half the server, they'd be nothing.

My left nut has more talent than any of those mooks in 1a straight up, and I think it quit working in 2006.

ive always found 1a a lot more competitive than ffa, but perhaps you like primary or tourney more

tourney a games i recall as some weird inbred community with mass multies

and primary i never really played

But on a level playing field where a player can't just farm his way to unlimited acres because of the Alliance he's in, it's an entirely different story.

I'll use myself as an example. You and your LaF goombas under the direction of Don Whoever (honestly, that whole Don thing is as gay as Christopher Lowell) allow me to bottom and midfeed about 50K acres by just raping every country I hit, Triple taps, quad taps, etc....

Where's the talent in that E? I know that I am at little to no risk farming the server because Don Myfluffishuge will back my poor behavior up with a war dec and more farming opportunity against any alliance that I choose to abuse.

1a is bullfluff.

think of it this way

if there is a more efficient way to do something then someone will probably do it and they will probably win

then others will do it

what we need to do is change what is efficient

take a look at the DR posts on bugs and suggestions, i want to see second hits on the same country get less land, perhaps 80% of the first one, then the next one perhaps 50% of the first one

and last set the top 2 land countries were Neofed and PDM which i wouldnt really consider part of any in crowd of alliances
