This early FS just doesn't make for a fun war. Kinda sad.

I've been an on and off LaF member for like 7 years now. I wouldn't call them the dark side. There's a lot of darker places I could be. They aren't Monsters, or Omega, or the light-hearted incompetence of PDM, but they're no SoL, Evo, Imag, KSF, etc. either.

Early FSs do make for fun wars. Later on, countries are big enough that they can live off stockpile, and growth isn't too important. With early wars, you have to balance growth with killing the enemy. Its much more challenging then getting to 20k acres, stockpiling for 2 weeks, and then going to war with big stockpiles.

Yeah, if you have a few hours to kill you should read some of Rockman's theories about pact breaking and pointless wars on the FFAT board. Oh, I guess those philosophical objections only apply when Rockman is on the receiving end of that behavior.

Not sure why you're so surprised VIPx, he sounds like a model LaF member to me.

I've been part of the earth community in some form or another since at least 2000, and prob 1999, but that's too far back to really remember at this point. What I can tell you is my impression of LaF has always been:

- They are arrogant people who are selfish.
- They will do anything to win and try their best to display legitimacy, whether or not that's an illusion.
- They have ties to some of the worst cheating in this game
- They are no different than any other super competitive alliances we've saw past, present, and I'm sure future.

Out of all the alliances I've every been in, Omega was the cleanest nicest group of people. PDM was the funnest, and SoF uses fluff too much!

As far as I'm concerned from LaF dropping members to win ANW followed by this ranks them a 9.5 out of 10 for being D-bags!

locket: Evo had one single guy who had some serious RL issues and deleted without knowing anything about end set. LaF purposefully dropped multiple members to get the ANW, like they tried to do in a previous set (except that they didn't drop enough and still lost that time, heh).

Its painfully obvious that LaF was planning to FS EVO before this set started, its pretty lame that instead of refusing to renew the pact so EVO might at least be suspicous enough to do some war prep they renewed it so they could catch EVO off gaurd and unprepared so they could have the war in thier favor. not that this should come as a suprise as LaF doesnt like to have fair wars, they just do whatever they have to to win.

im curious to know how this pact was supposedly voided unless there was a clause about mocking LaF with country names?

LAF are claiming that evo refused to FS sol; however the COALITION CANNOT FS ANY ALLIANCE UNLESS IT HAS 66% SUPER MAJORITY. THEREFORE EVO DID NOT BREAK ANY TERMS AS LAF ONLY COUNT FOR 50%.

You need a 50% majority if being FSed - LaF were not FSed and were the ones wanting to perform an FS on sol, which they had no intention of doing anyway, they just wanted to break a pact with evo; however they are so fluffing retarded they can't see the unbreakable signs written all over the pact and again they have shown that when it comes to working out %s they are still lagging behind sea monkeys.

Thanks , its been an honor to be the pansy clan. And trust me, the girls fight on the jelly/mud pool between evo and laf, will be very entertaining for Sol, Sof and the whole earth. Expecially after both side agreed to fight naked.
