Lots of good ideas. It would be easier to do a random draft, and I think more fun having people draft others. Not really sure who would be the leaders, maybe people throw their name in a pool, and let people vote. And the top 4 - 6 people would pick teams. I don't think their should be a limit on the size of the alliance...I think everyone should be picked.

So basically it would be the RD v PDM war all over again?

Players picking teams would lead to people picking friends and alliance-mates. It would basically be the same pacts as it is now, but rather than it being SOF vs SOL, it would be random players from SOF+buddy alliances vs SOL+buddy alliances.

(the above is just an example. you get the idea)

Isn't "SOF+buddy alliances vs SOL+buddy alliances" exactly what some person/people were trying to push in Aliance server already?

btw, I'm not in SoF or SoL. That was not my intention.

the funnest wars i have been in is when there are huge numbers on both sides, not many small wars.

Clever idea but I am too entrenched in my belief that I would HATE people because they are from a certain Clan, thankfully most of the clans I hate have all dissolved over the years....

OK, i keep getting messages from hundreds of Earthers about this. If you guys want me to be the leader of one side- I accept. Its going to be tough because i am already so busy, but i can see from all the messages i have been getting that its needed. I will lead our side to victory!
