Celphi, here's why the 5 suiciders were harmful to Bad.

It's true, only one did significant structural damage to the countries of Bad. I don't think that can be denied... BUT, Bad had to spend a lot of time actually killing most of those countries which hindered their growth. Their growth was hindered so much, in fact, that they were less than half your size when you FSed them.

I think it really is time to focus back on the topic of this thread... Rybka v Bad. Celphi is a master deflector. If you find some way to make him look stupid, he will jump to another argument without acknowledging his stupidity. But there is one irrefutable truth and fact going on right now... despite a HUGE size advantage AND the FS, Rybka failed to kill anything so far in their war. Bad, on the other hand, has a kill... and is therefore winning.

So Celphi, it's time for you to go back to your Express forums and leave us alone.

I will agree dissident with the war. I was unaware that kills were the determining factor to wins. Is it like that on ALLIANCE too? Because I thought it was the clan to finish with the higher net. Maybe TEAM is different? IDK.

But if that's the standard, I cannot argue with that. And if we lose, I'll be here to congratulate them. All I ask for is a fair fight.

I believe it was Dreckon with 5mil net, 2bill cash and 3 mil oil. That's easily the same net. Networth means nothing until the last day. In fact, in war by us being higher net, makes it *harder* for us to kill them. Our returns per GS/BR are lower because their net is so low.

if thats the case, why aren't your networths the same now? Is bad just holding on to their cash?

We've CD over 25mil troops, 3mil oil, 8 mil jets blowen up, 1 bil cash gone, farms blown up.

Warleaders push for a holistic approach to war. Have the land and infrastructure to produce enough for a sustained war effort. Once you're at war, EVERY turn goes towards killing the enemy. You hit then missile/spy for readiness and hit some more.

If I ever got busted teching all of my turns away during a war I would have gotten REAMED out so bad i could put two celphisticks up my asshole and take a picture of the plaque on the back of my bottom from teeth.

During war, leaders push for production of war hits... not networth in any way. As soon as a war dec is out... networth is out the window.

ok, your spy ops took a lot of their stocks down... but you didnt leave enough turns to get a kill. Instead, it got one of your countries killed.

I would say it's both. We aren't organized. But that's to be expected on a 1st time go on TEAM w/ all five of us in 5 different time zones; but, it has improved drastically near the end of this set.

If we do run another set, you can expect to see vast improvements.

@dissident: Yes, two kills would have been better with all the stock that they had- but on our 1st 4 attacks the 1st player signed on and bought up. So the attack was halted and switched.

Same thing occurred with the 2nd player. He bought up after like 5-6 attacks.

Same thing on 3rd player... so we just assumed everyone was online. Was a weekend the best time to attack? Prob not- but organizing 5 players on 5 differ time zones is quite a challenge. And when I say differ time zones I mean like +12/+15 hrs difference. So we did the alternative approach.

Take Dallas Cowboys for instance...

you ABed him in your FS... parking lot. It sucks... but whatever right? he's got cash and military to run GS on your in their next kill run. He nearly got the killshot on that country.

Then you botched the next killrun on this guy by going ahead with a killrun but not having enough turns to finish the job. He has since come online and regained his lost civs and you've wasted all those turns on killing his buildings. Guess what, there's less than 3 days left in the set. What does he need buildings for? Not a lot if he's got enough cash to run his turns and help finish a killrun.

maybe it was bad luck to hit bad on a weekend. maybe you had 3 stonewall on you... those are the breaks sometimes. You will probably lose the war because of those who stonewalled.

but you will also lose the war because you spent so many turns on spy ops and ABs..... when those turns could have been used for actually killing civilians.

Dallas is a bad example. #7 is a better example. We AB'd and he spent all his $ to rebuild it and only signed off with only 20k tanks, so we did it again., and still he rebuilt it using his $.

Dallas didn't rebuild right away., but 600 turns of no production is still better than doing failed GS attacks. We're failing because we couldn't get more than 2 ppl online at a time. Or-- other reasons which I'm not going to elaborate on, which I take responsibility for.

When you're small net, your expenses are easily manageable- as a large country our expenses are much greater- so to improve the long term strategy is to take advantage of their low running military. Most effective, no. Not against high stocked players., but we did the best with what we had.

So there's the other problem... teamwork.

one man cannot win a war alone. Good communication with your team is worth more than any networth. If you cant get people to show up for warchats, you can't accomplish much. Elders rarely starts a killrun on anything with less than 3 people online and a promise of a 4th.

Yes., everything above is true. This was all figured out along the way and quite honestly we learned more how to coordinate better from this whole war with xBaDx.

I'm not the most contributing player on our team. Nowhere close. I'm actually lucky to have the players in our clan to have signed up. To join a clan with me is crazy! But they did it. And I appreciate them.

pull it together and you might tie this thing up. But you gotta know Bad is saving their turns for one last push. It's like a boxing match at this point. Noone is gonna get the KO... so it's gonna go to the scorecard.
