The fact that you find it unbelievable that I did it without help despite not offering up who helped me and how is why I have nothing to prove. I think 15 bill solo is possible with what I learned that set (my mistakes per se) so it should be relatively easy to beat.

The problem is people still aren't doing most of things I did that set, so I guess they aren't common enough knowledge that the record will be beaten anytime soon. And yeah you narrowly beat me in tnw and anw. I sunk over a trill cash into transaction costs that set so that was easy enough to do.

As for help, I got some from Microsoft Excel, advice from dp and hawk, and I bounced the idea of a 10 bill now country off better netters than me before I did it, which was enough motivation to try.

Where did I say it was unbelievable? You obviously don't know my past. In E2025 I had the highest NW until Peki beat me and he needed to merge TSE into PANLV in order to get it done and anyone who knows me would know I have a ton of respect for Peki - probably the best to ever play (aside from Hermes and SV). (For the record I did have help when I got it done - Orion).

Can I beat $11b - absolutely, it's not a question of if it's when and I can come back. I play EE 1-2 times a year and the next time I decide to play that will be the goal. When I decide to play again it would be heck of a lot easier than doing avg nw AND 7 top 10. I'll come back eventually, probably, but it tough to predict with my kiddos.

OH and i'll do it solo - trust me Crip will not let anyone help me because he is annoying like that ;o)

And this is just a friendly disagreement - these forums uses to be filled with drama and hostilities and now it's just tree hugging :o)

what roughly 519-520 approx. countries tagged (I did it quickly in my head) / 16 countries = 32-33 players (assuming they all run 16 countries which is not likely) but 40 seems like a good guess.

I can only go by my own experience when netting and from my experience building 16 vrs the 1 was always easier...Now my highest ever was $5b and nowhere near $11b so as Sin stated its all relative.

I mean when you run 16 you need to make sure not to crash the food or oil markets when destocking, you need to make sure markets are never bare, meaning to buy it all up in a day etc...When I jumped my first country it only used 2600 turns.

The one thing I can tell you is that it is exhausting ...lol

I am sure Sin and SV will do "there" thing next reset, and for many resets to come.

Maybe next time I play ill try it...$11b is a big number but it is easier to build one large country then to build 16 for average nw.

lol @ whooze. Trust me if I hadn't left early for holidays I would have taken #1 or pushed SV to #1 - TBH I thought SV had that secured.

I only ended up with $838M avg nw, 7 top 10 countries and $13.4b nw and ICD finished #1 total nw that's all that matters :o)

But good job in the war set ... I didn't follow it much seemed like a lot of drama (and grabbing #1) ;)
