If more people sell it for dirt cheap, you will have less competition. Since this is the beginning of the game, lots of countries haven't decided what gov to chose and seeing high oil prices will only compel them to go oiler. If that happens then oil will be dirt cheap the entire set ... because people are too lazy or too stubborn =P

I've only been playing one set and its like dumb to see so much hatred. If you don't like each other just declare it and don't go around the bush...

I'm sure members from both sides would want nothing less... or perhaps its just leadership propagating this to get members to agree to a war of two great netting alliances.

The clan has nothing to do with your skills, although some do offer guidance.

If you are looking to do well in alliance, you will need to join a clan that has few enemies, has good tag protection, and has lots of good friends.

But since its a game, I say its all about joining one that makes you feel important and they threat you like a friend.

I think it would be nice if there was a confirmation window/button that will ask you if you really want to destroy your Construction Sites.

I think this would be a nice fix since hardly anyone wants to destroy their cs.

crest brag to me about having hit this one country and getting $60M from it. 60M is a lot of money, but not enough to ruin someone's set.

I don't know about ruining the set of someone who messes up with yours. After all most of this guys here aren't really worth wasting a set on.

maverick is right in some ways, luck does have something to do with doing well in the game. I was lucky that I didn't get suicided or retalled.

Some of the things I did:

I stayed small at the beginning to not attract attention.

I didn't LG too many people to not upset them and to not waste so many turns. I didn't expect a retal on my country because of my high nw and few acres, else they would had to spend lots of $$$ and raise their expenses, which would also lower their potential targets.

Buy cheap tech that other techers (lucky for me there weren't many dumb techers) were selling for what I considered too cheap. I guess you can say I was stocking tech.
