Luckily I have you and chevs by phone so I still get my dose. Now that we aren't playing, I feel comfortable enough to meet in RL.

I owe you some Truly. How great was it that this started and ended with a suicide of a top 5 country.

To date, probably the president we have had. Even the message to request FA from chevs is above and beyond what that role typically does. The FA would be assumed by the president, and if not received most likely missiles would go out to the offending countries

To anyone who actually cares.

1. Slag did reach out to me to see if I wanted to say anything on Chevs' behalf. And I told him no. I would rather Chevs quit playing this game. It is a waste of his time and as I actually care about his well being and his growing family, I will not do anything to assist in the continuation of him playing this game, but if he wants to waste his time on it that is his choice.

2. Slag gets a lot of heat on things, but it is because he is the only one that makes a definitive decision. The rest of the developers are checked out and non-committal. I don't blame them. This aggression towards Slag, in my opinion, isn't warranted. Whatever your opinions of the guy, he at least cares enough to engage with us a-holes.

3. To Slag - I consider the conversations you and I had as private and will not reveal the things we spoke about. Just as I consider my relationship with the very few people I was close with in this game as also private. I personally do NOT think Chevs deserves to be permabanned (with a caveat as shared below) as it stands. Do I think he is difficult to deal with? Yes. Do I think he did some of the things mentioned? Yes. I was there with him. Do I think that he did anything that is worth a life time ban? Depends. It is up to the staff to make that decision, but if he did then so did MULTIPLE people who are still playing this game. MYSELF included. I just think that it should be fair, and people who have done the same or WORSE things should have also been perma-banned. The fact that Chevs doesn't actually lie to anyone is a detriment to him and why I think he is being singled out. He might debate a rule, he might exploit a loose definition of that rule, but he doesn't lie. It is one of the things I actually respect about the man. That and he is a good father, husband, and human. Which can't be said about most of the people who play this game.

4. Lastly. There is one person who is involved in this game that above all else, is a cancer. This person has continuously been in the middle of most of these issues. This person lies. This person defends you on the forums (SLAG) but lies and talks fluff behind your back. At first I respected the way this person played the game, but once I found out that it actually affected people's lives and well being....it wasn't acceptable to me anymore. I refused to talk to this person. I refuse to engage with this person. I have refused to acknowledge this person's existence until now. Slag, this person is the only reason anything was ever said about you. This person is the only reason why Chevs lost his cool and said things he shouldn't have (and I agree with his reasons). This person is the only reason why I don't feel this game is worth participating in. I will not name this person as I feel it makes me just as bad as this person. But for the people who know, they know.

I'd like to see EVERYONE who has violated rules of this nature to also receive perma-bans. It doesn't seem right to pick and choose just because you don't like the person. I am willing to put my status here in jeopardy to see equal actions if that is what it takes. I also understand if the admin group (Slag) can't go back on this decision for whatever reason. In that instance, I think I understand how things are going to work and I feel that this game is no longer in line with how I want to spend my time.

2. Anyone who happens to be white. Who likes to speak for us non-whites in reference to what we would like or not like, needs to STFU. This isn't your fight. You would be shocked at what people will do when they find out you have wealth. Even family members you've never spoken to. Not to mention lawyers handle a lot.... a trust, corporation management, as well as a retainer. I know it's shocking, but attorney's do a lot of things outside of the court.

The police took all of the decorations to the local police station. I think the news article said it took like 4 swat vans and a few cruisers a couple trips. Basically, if you got your items relocated, you could call and describe it and they would do their best to match it up.

I have a pretty good Xmas story.

The year was 1999, a group of friends and I were in high school, and we all had a mutual Mormon friend.

Being idiots, we were pretty ignorant on anything to do with Mormons or their religion. So, we thought that they didn't celebrate Christmas. Being the good friends we were, we decided to do something about it.

December 15th - Our Mormon friend leaves with his family to visit their family in Utah. They will return on December 24th.

December 17th - We get together, just a few of us. Decided that our neighbors had way too many decorations. So, we borrowed a few here and a few there. We did this for the next couple hours over I would say a 5-mile radius. And we decorated our deprived Mormon friend's house. We got done around 2AM or so and felt pretty good about spreading holiday cheer.

December 18th - Wake up pretty late in the morning. Drive out to see the house during the day. ALL decorations were missing. We sneak around the yard, and we notice they are all inside. Left feeling extremely confused and decided that they must have had someone check on the house to make sure it was fine while they were out. Evening comes around and we all meet up again. Discuss the issue at hand. Came to the conclusion that the ONLY way to have our poor deprived heathen Mormon friend get a Christmas is to wait until the evening of Dec 23rd and do it again.

December 19th-22nd - Plans made. Areas of greatest overwhelming ratio of decorations per house reconned.

December 23rd - We reach out to a few more people. We have about 12 people involved at this point. All in 4x vehicles. We start at roughly 11PM. The new area is about a 25-mile radius. We finish at about 4AM. We brought extension cords, power strips, rope, tape, etc. Let's just say, when we were done decorating this house you could see it from space it was so damn bright.

December 24th - Sleep in. Feel good about our good deed done. Message our Mormon buddy over AOL IM (like what is that?) and ask him about his vacation. His response, and I will never forget it to this day. "I know what you did. Never speak of it again". I respond to him. "haha. What do you mean?" He doesn't respond. I relay this message to all other participants.

December 25th - December 26th - We fluff bricks. Don't hear from our buddy at all. It has gone radio silent.

December 27th - I get a phone call from one of the other "culprits". "DUDE TURN ON THE NEWS". There it was. "LARGEST CHRISTMAS HEIST IN (CITY WE LIVED IN) HISTORY". The piece was great. Here is a little snippet:

December 28th-January 2nd - We all pretty much fluff bricks. Some of us had turned 18 that year (not me thankfully). Didn't know what we were going to do. Stayed inside. None of us spoke to each other. Figured our Mormon friend was going to rat us all out. Some of us, who had GF's, tried to get some before a life in prison started. I personally was denied because my GF at the time wanted to wait until we were married. HA. This is what I get for being a good Christian boy spreading the spirit of Christmas.

January 3rd - Return to school. We all meet up during lunch. Mormon buddy comes up smiling. "What's up guys? Did you hear?". We responded "WTF you talking about. Our life is over just because your parents hate you and don't give you presents". He responds "No man. 1st off, we do celebrate Christmas but that is a different story. Two chicks got pinned on the robbery. They arrested them over the weekend". Our response "YEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!"

Conclusion and clarifications.

1. Yes. I do now know that Mormons DO celebrate Christmas. But I grew up a middle child in SoCal. I skateboarded, smoked weed & failed to get laid more than a handful of times until HS was over. Give me a break on Mormon history.

2. This is a 100% true story. I didn't sample it in any way from the internet. My buddy's mom still has the newspaper article.

3. The (2) girls who got caught, though were innocent of the big heist, had stolen decorations and kept them in their garage. They lived with their Grandma and their Grandma saw the news story and ratted them out. I do not know what happened to them. Probably ruined their lives. But pretty hilarious.

4. We technically never "stole" anything. We really only relocated items. And to our knowledge most of the items that were relocated had been returned to their rightful owner. At least that is how I sleep at night thinking of it.

5. Yes. I do expect to have my decorations stolen or destroyed at some point in my life. No. I will not be upset.

BH - I know this is crazy to think. But life before you got to Earth Empires existed. Just like your parents' happiness before you were born. Every alliance warred each other. Every alliance has been allies with LaF in the past. Most of the people here being the "greifers" have been in LaF before. My guess is LaF was tired of being nice to other alliances and virtual blowing QZ was easier to get sets without being hit instead of doing the political work to keep them from being the target.

LaF - you have a long history of being a great alliance. Good netting and good warring (even if no one remembers). However, recently you're kind of meh. All the people that enjoyed other aspects of the game from your side has left and we are left with Gains, En4 and then a bunch of turds (besides HH and maybe Karn. Um....no offense). The people who actually care about playing the game and the actual turn by turn gameplay remains. The rest of us actually like the real game, which has very little to do with turns or turns spent. It's about people, fluff posts, schemes, politics, drama, backstabbing, frontstabbing, sidestabbing, and hot chicks. The game is just the engine that fuels the fun part of the game. So, where am I going with it all? You get a bunch of fluff heads in the same place that now have zero accountability of their actions and there is nothing anyone can do about it. You used to have to earn that status. This is the current state of the game.

QZ - honestly. I'm hoping you do nothing with it. Screw this community, myself included. It truly doesn't matter what you do. You are going to have people unhappy. It is thankless. There are like 5 decent humans left playing this game that actually appreciate that you are trying but also understanding that you have a life. Having said that, are you guys taking investment? What would the dollar price be if someone wanted to buy it or at least majority stake? DM ME! In USD please.
