Kinect is doing exactly what the Wii did but 5 years too late. What kind of retarded game has NO controller at all? The only games you'll be able to play are esentially remakes of party games and Wii sports. You won't be able to use Kinect for any platformers etc... Moreover it's going to be a huge flop because it's going to be $150 that no one is going to spend in this economy.

I've wondered why it didn't make sense for the government to just pay off the mortgages rather then give a handout. The companies still get the money, they also get relieved of toxic debt and people get their houses. Not really. The market share between the two has been shrinking dramatically. Right now the Wii has a 48.7% market share, the 360 has 27.3% and the PS3 has 24%.

As far as hard numbers worldwide the 360 has sold aproximately 40.2 million while the PS3 has sold 35.3 million. Hardly a Mac vs PC comparison at all.

Moreover the PS3 continues to gain ground and outperform the 360 this year. Year to date the PS3 has sold 4.2 million while the 360 has sold 3.1 million.

Plus as I said the PS3 exclusives are way better then the 360's. Plus MS had an amazingly bad/weak E3 this year.

Exclusive games are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better on the PS3. Personally I'd say the Wii but the PS3 beats the 360 for sure. The 360 is the biggest abomination in gaming history.

The PS3 has Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavy Rain, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted 1 and 2, Heavenly Sword, inFamous 1 and 2, Killzone 2 and 3, White Knight Chronicles, Resistance 1 and 2 all better then almost every game on the 360.

360 has Halo 3, which was absolutely terrible, then Gears of War which was okay, Fable was garbage and I never much cared for Mass Effect.

This is dumb. A group of about 5-10 people can get adequate tag protection if they are willing to act like psychopathic guerillas for a reset or two. Then the major alliances realize the land they get from you is not worth the trouble you cause and just NAP you to get you to go away.

I know you don't know who I am ingame. But assuming you know how long I hold grudges for and what an all around nasty person I am in general it'd probably be a good idea to find out in the future.

The NCAAT would still destroy the new tournament especially because CBS just signed a new long term contract. The NCAAT makes more money then the Super Bowl and the BCS Bowls. It's a bigger, more revenue generating event then either, the difference is the NCAA keeps the lion's share of the money so it's not as profitable to schools as the BCS.

You have to understand that while TV money produces a lot of income for school, the other huge chunk of money = boosters. Now how much booster money do you think UNC generates when compared to football booster money? I would bet my last dollar the basketball program makes millions more then football in that regard. Then comes merchandising, is it UNC FOOTBALL that drives athletic apparel sales for UNC? Hell no. The same applies to a lot of big univerisites with moderate to poor football programs and elite basketball programs. e.g. Kansas, UNC, Duke, Indiana, Kentucky, Syracuse and ALL of the BE schools that don't play Division I A football of which nearly half of the conference does not.

Even schools like Florida State where football is king. Florida State turns a profit in the range of a million on men's basketball and breaks even on women's basketball. There are drawbacks on breaking away from the NCAA, namely two programs that are self sufficient, and in the case of men's basketball profitable now become money sinks when they go into the red and the money to support them has to come from the extra football money you now have.

Oh it definitely happened. As soon as Mehul said it was Mad Cat because it was generating a lot of Utopian complaints the thread about me being a "rogue mod" got deleted really quickly from UGT. You didnt visit UGT that often though so you likely could have missed it easily.

Fuzzy: From my PoV it's definitely Mickster/Mad Cat due to the time they actually had this whole elaborate scheme to frame me for deleting Utopia General Talk by having Mad Cat go invisible on the mod log and do a bunch of crazy stuff, then Mickster making a long sticky thread on UGT about how this was all done by me because I am a rogue mod looking to ban random Utopia posters for no reason. It got people complaining to the point that Mehul actually showed up and said it was Mad Cat and not me, at which point MC played stupid like she lost her password and someone was logging in under her account, turning off visibility, doing bad things, then turning visibility back on when they were done.

I think they are referring to the URL based mod password from before there were actually logins. Anyone could use any username and it just posted an ID# under your name to differentiate people.
