There should be a random chance you set one of the missiles off that you're defusing. So for example:

country B defuses country A.
At random one of the missiles country b was defusing goes off and damages country A.

It makes since to me that when someone is attempting to defuse something explosive there should be the risk of setting it off.

The down side to that would be that if he sets off a bomb only one missile is defused that turn.

To play devils advocate: the reason spawn does that is because he consideres anyone in the same tag with people who farmed them to be guilty by assoication.

I don't personally agree with that if it was the act of a few as the Tag doesn't always have 100% control over everyone.

Like for example Omega. Obviously it was one player action on their own. That to me should be considered. But Spawn can play however he likes.

There is no such thing as a top feed anymore. To maximize your land gain you need to be the same NW not less or more.

Any line of thought that leads one to believe a retal multiple weeks later is acceptable as a retal is flawed. It if fine to LG someone weeks later but you cannot claim it to be a retal. At least not for me.

Well i guess we better hope we dont meet in primary because it will lead to war.

If you hit me 3 weeks after my attack and call it a retal I will not accept that and will retal you 1:1 as that would be considered a new hit not a retal.

If you don't accept that and hit me back then it will only go down hill from there.

If you and I meet in the game one of us will have to back down or both our sets will be ruined.

I wouldn't act kindly on your 'unlimited retal window' because if I hit you week one and you hit me back week 4 there is a major difference there. That would not be cool, and I would not take kindly to that sort of game play. If, however, you retal me in a more reasonable time frame I will accept it as a retal and move on.

Umm well I never really thought of that but generally speaking it would be within 48 hours, unless it is someone 4x my size that wants to bottom feed me.

In that case I feel it is justified to allow 72 hours to grow 4x and get a retal. Especially if it was multiple land grabs on me.

I enforce a 1:1 retal policy for all hits on me. If you feel like I grabbed to many acres back then don't hit me in the first place.

If you RoR me, you will become my new land fluff.

They are rewarded, because I guarantee you they will still beat me.

My problem is that I don't want to drill a few small people hundreds of times per day, week, month. I'm opposed to farming people out of existence. I guess it's more like a philosophical difference between you and I.

But if you think grabbing is "hard" you're wrong. It involves more time but nothing in this game is hard. I'd also venture to guess they have lots (and by lots I mean tons) of "tools" that help them along as well.

In the end everyone is forced to play in some way they don't necessarily want to play i.e. all explore, farm small people hundreds of times over and over, land trade, grabbing pacts, etc... If we could get an influx of players this would all be a moot point :p

But don't think I'm trying to take anything away from the elite netters, I recognize them and lets be honest they will still win.

PP, there is no skill. They simply have tools which aid them in making their decisions and camp news, dr, whatever. An hit a defenseless country hundreds of times over and over. They have virtually no fear of retribution and yes just pound away that land baby!

Just think if every alliance played this way? The game can only sustain so many countries playing in this manner. I guarantee you if everyone grabbed as some others do there would be no one to grab.

I'd love to see laf and evo land trade and see what happens. It would be epic, and I guarantee you people would have more fun that they have had in a long time playing.

And I challenge LaF and Evo to land trade next set, show us how it's done and have some god damn fun!
