very close.

i have a copy of celias old cash start.

however the 3 fundamentals where i feel you could optimize more is

1. it was built for 100A. these days, you can have 120 or even 140A before you even play a turn.
2. it doesnt factor in tech. if you wait 2 days in express, like now, bus/res is at 2100$/pt. get a couple hundred tech pts and it will make a signficant difference.
3. doesnt take into fact that rep explore is now 48A instead of 40... huge difference.

you have to. if you play alliance, under a NAP heavy tag like LaF where you can also get tech leeches, thats about the only place where a cash start can be severely advantageous because you can carry minimal D and invest all your $ in tech.

in express, it is impossible to run a non tech start for any strat other than CI, and the only reason why thats viable is the massive production bonus and the fact that you come out of the gate faster than any other govt, because most of them are TECH starting.

its not uncommon for me to store turns day 1/2 in exp... by the time i start, the #1 guy has 2M nw already and around 7-8k land.

by the end of that first day, ive run maybe 300 turns less than him and am ranked 50-75... but with prolific grabbing, by the end of the next day when im caught up in turns, ill be top 5 and most likely outproducing him on slightly less land....

and by the end of day 3, be in the #1 spot because now i have the same if not more land, and much higher tech levels.

210 res
56 cs
+105k/turn

thats with no tech.

if say i got a couple hundred tech pts cheap or got a couple good explores, 125k@turn 99 is entirely possible. i think my best was around 121k.

i disagree. as a rep you will have plenty of turns to build more cs. heres why

1. you cant get as fat as other countries because of the R, so you can afford to build cs later.
2. building cs when you make 2M a turn is a helluva lot better than cs at 30k a turn.
3. early turns, its all about maximing population which creates an exponential growth.

thats how i hit 33+m nw in express. but im looking to see if i can do even better on a cash start in a round where i see lots of techers and tech starting off at say, 2200 or cheaper.

you finishing with 3 in the top 10 out of say.. 30 countries. is not impressive... thats a 1/10 rate. 10 pct.

any 5 man alliance with even one top 10 at 1/5= 20 pct.. = higher rate of good players than you.
