But what about mobile? EE seems like the perfect strategy game for people to play on their smart phones.

I mean if angry birds can get massive, I am sure there are enough numbers oriented nerds using iPhones and Droids to play EE on their phone throughout the day.

It is strategic, massively multiplayer, competitive and text based. The same data packets required to play it make it almost perfect for mobile platforms right?

Not a developers, but might be worth to spend some time optimizing a user infaceface for smart phones along with the other things you have to do.

We have a mobile site that is kindof worked on on the side by pang and nuk for the forums; but yea, at some point this would probably be a really good idea; I've done some development for the iPhone myself (though I don't actually have an i(ANYTHING), i did it for work...) and it's not *that* hard, just really requires developing for a stupidly small screen...

the html version for mobile devices is great! I don't think an 'app' is needed.

I play 90perc of the time from my mobile phone and i know a lot of others who do.

It loads very fast and is easy to navigate
