Sorry for the spy op I performed. I'm trying to search for a new tech partner, but I'm unsure of how to find one. I got lucky finding #47, I asked him a question and he helped me out. It seems as though he had a war with someone and either died or deleted. RIP.

Anyways, I'm new, this is my 4th set (2 tournament, 2 primary). I tried searching for a new tech partner on forums, but there's no post button, I can only read.

I'd be grateful of any information you could provide.

yea i hope he dont shove his sword up my butt here.. i had made a losing business with the retal i done earlier in the round.. low land guys just arent juicy to get a good trading business in land lol.. most of the big guys here do the hard work of accumulating land slowly.. but we just occasionally have half naked guys dancing around going for the easy job of making few big hits lol

I didn't lose land, and I think buying up, retalling and then building (I'm dict), won't help me that much, it would make me a fatter target.

Maybe I'm wrong, but then maybe thats why I have only squeaked into t10 once on primary.

Now if someone were to break me... well that spoils my netting fun, and leaves me with no other choice ;)

I think this guy is toast the way he is playing - still, its entertaining! (easy to say when you got off with a DH!)

Having more land could actually deter guys at the top from hitting you. More production=higher chance of retal. They hit almost everyone they think can't retal, so amount of land isn't a huge factor. Last set you were a theo so your weaps couldn't be great, but i dount you'll have anyone come knocking as a dict =)

Good point Tmac. sometimes a landfat country can really wallop you with a retal.

On the other hand if I'm a techer and I bounce someone's attack in my stocking phase, I'm with Ugo: there's no point in retaling if I think doing so will actually worsen my finish or start a war. Now whether either of those things is the case is anyone's question.

I prob wouldn't retal a bounced attack if it wasn't beneficial either. Ugo not retalling will help the guys who do lose land get a lil more back on their retal too.
