WTF is wrong with GDI? I need some explanation for things that seem to be very wrong with this system. There needs to be a way to get out after you join the stupid thing.

why mods? it's devs (pang and qz) with whom you should talk.

on a sidenote why would you want to leave gdi?

For some reason, there have been a string of landgrabs and attempts made against me by countries who's net is 4 and 5 times mine, which obviously precludes me from doing any sort of retaliation. I just want to know how they are able to violate GDI rules to do the first strike in the first place. This pisses me off to no end, if I could leave GDI, I could at least discourage them from trying again. I suspect that the attacks are specifically directed at me because I am always the country with the least land in my scores list almost 100% of the time. Don't people normally look for countries that sre going to give up the most land in a strike?

It also has nothing to do with GDI. It's the humanitarian server rules, and quitting GDI wouldn't change that. I also doubt people are targeting you personally but they likely see you as a safe target to outgrow.

True. if in fact you are a rainbow strategy, people will target you more. If they hit a rainbow and build out of its range, the less efficient rainbow has a harder time trying to claw back into range to hit back. Rainbows get farmed hard. Play an efficient country with lots of options to ruin an aggressor, and you won’t be farmed.

puts you in the Goldilocks zone for the top players, and the top players will grab agressively to compete...

being skinny and/or well defended only works to a point, if other targets around you have enough DR's then that makes you viable

primary is a tough server!

It’s so competitive trying to find the best land not in DR these days. Some days you can’t find more than one good target... so you give up and take the risk of farming.

No, good players will hit you if you can't retal. GDI either on you or them means you cant retal with ops, missiles or special attacks for a single attack. So if you cant break them on a PS you are free land. If they can either outgrow you or you have nothing else to retal with they can farm you and leave you.

Generally there are only like 15-20 countries in primary who dont get farmed lol.

I didn't used to like primary at first, because it was hard. I'm finding it one of the best servers now.... because its hard!

I'm enjoying being back on the Primary server, but I'm well aware that I'm about to fall way behind. Land is the key I'm noticing, and I do not have enough.

Xirtam I'd say when you're new to Primary you should play commie indy

Easy to get near the top early and stay in the land game.. get a set under your belt to learn the ropes and then try other strategies from there

I'm only online a few times a day. Run turns once or twice a day. Sometimes I miss a day and need to catch up. Casher would have been good for that. I'm trying techer and I might switch to MBR.

What's a decent food/oil stockpile at this point in the game?
