Yeah the changes to attacking were implemented mid-late set.

It messed us up quite a bit but we are all adapted and ready for this set, so it doesnt matter when a change is made it will always force adaptation. So if he is holding off on the change to avoid upsetting peoples plans it just procastrinates it, doesnt avoid it.

And what ever happened to the all mighty anti suicider chatter that was the talk of the town last set? Now all of a sudden 50 ABs/BRs are okay because he was a non bot country that was grabbed once? Please...

Seems a lot of people are pointing out that some of these can be avoided if you dont hit non-bots, and knowing which countries are bots is important. But no one is saying you deserve 20-50 ABs for 1 landgrab.

He also sent me a dozen messages calling me all kinds of names, my mother and family names, etc. I told him if he apologized I wouldn't hit him anymore. Well, he continued on. So, I hit him more.

Just because we're on an alliance server doesn't mean I need to respect or live within the guidelines of any particular alliance's policies. He's got no more power than I do to control my actions. Had he been a gentleman and less whiny competitor, I wouldn't have launched round 2 on him. He threatened that his alliance would wipe me up and hunt my restarts down. I respect that, as I am playing against him (and now his alliance).

Nonetheless, don't berate me for my game play when you're the one with the 'protection' and freedom to make boneheaded decisions too.
