how do i know which ones are bots? and how long does DR last on express?

bots: lots of defs no attacks, names (3 syllables) start with capped letter and other things.

useful link if you can read the code at least somewhat you will see the words which the bots choose their names from. You can look at last resets or previous sets scores as well to see the yellow countries(non-player countries) to see a selection of the typical names they use. At some point, the bot names become very easy to spot, but remember there every now and then are players who work to impersonate bots, some of them have named their countries properly and you will need more knowledge to counter their deceit. "Deceit" being human players that try to act like a bot.

Humans will attack you if you look fat or you are unlucky. If you are a top country some people will spend all their stock just to hit you even if you have the highest defence in the game at times. Everyone can grab everyone, usually they don't tho because it usually serves no purpose.

When it comes to defence you might get away with a very low defence for a few hours if you dont look fat at all, but thats the kind of stunts that end your reset if someone spies you and decides its a good idea to multi-tap you. You then do best to just kill him and move on, but your chances to win are usually gone at that point.

But there is that one jerk that wants to ruin people's set.... D is a plus to have

Ya, there are people that run all jets. So if you're going to get hit you're going to get hit.. just retal and move on..

It's very easy to end up in a war, and you can solo kill someone if you have max turns and decent spies which is what makes the server fun I think

As for how much def you should have.. I think you have to run light on defense to keep expenses down for a chance to win.. but you do need at least enough defense so you don't get hit with multiple PS by the same person all at once
