I realize Ebert and Gerdler are Express noobs still in the infantile NW chasing phase but I can not sit idly by and watch them steer other noobs wrong.

Apparently they may be respected players on other servers, but on Express they are noobs.

For them to advocate a strat which would work great in Primary or any of the other lesser servers, but is precluded by Express' whack rule set highlights yet again their staggering ignorance which is surpassed solely by their arrogance.

Among the numerous Express rules that limit creativity and diversity of play styles is the 24 hour ban on dropping land. I am not surprised that neither of them know that rule.

I respect them both on EXPRESS. I haven't witnessed their war-fighting ability, but hands down one of the best netters to ever play EXPRESS.

No. Unfortunately, I know that limit all to well.

Many the set where I have read,
"You have captured 40,000 acres in the last 24 hours, you can not drop land captured in the last 24 hours."

You can drop land, I do it all the time. What you can’t do is drop your total held below the amount you’ve grabbed in the previous 24 hours

I respect you and your posts. But I disagree when you say that anyone can be a great netter under the current lackluster rule set. If the bots ever get their act together, then we will see.

I do not know every nuance of every strat on Express but you will not see me arrogantly giving errant advice to noobs while mocking established players like Temple.

But at set end deep in DR with noobs sitting on billions in cash and bots carrying literally over a million in tech the ability to drop that 40k in excess land would allow the accumulation of more ill preotected loot.

Praesidio templum#18 for set 431 might be the temple#28 from last reset. Praesidio templum is latin for "protect the temple", he stole cash from many people last set. I think he deserves a warm thank you for this reset.
