Not quite sure what dropping land does for everyone else, but all it did for me was murder my private market when I needed it.

LOL you don't drop land if you don't have income to buy it first, but dropping land will boost your spal and leave you with extra tech to sell off.

also dropping land after hitting someone is another way of being a giant fluff sandwich.

Had plenty of money, but no good if there's nothing to buy on my pm. Ahh well, I was going to break 30m this time. I'm wondering if I should build more rigs next set and try converting oil to units. Almost as if I should buy cheap units off the pm and sell them on public while selling tech.

Sounds like you are a theo techer Nuk. I wouldn't build rigs i would just buy cheap oil whenever it's on sale. Reselling isn't really worth it in express either. Just buy stock keep on teching.

Well, I didn't join gdi, doubletapped a non-bot country, accidentally sold most of my stock at a low price...then insanely lucked out and didn't get hit once, only to n00b it up in the end and screw myself over.

Going to need further advice on breaking 40mil from people who regularly do so.

well don't buy your pm and sell it if you can't regenerate the units to spend the cash, otherwise buy off public until you have just enough to cover your private.

Ok, so get more cheap oil. I didn't sell military tech the last couple times, so I had pretty decent prices...I noticed that Mountain Yeti dropped land at the end last reset for some reason. He must have had lots of oil on hand.

yeah probably outweighed cost of mil tech to his oil stock and found the sweet spot after buying up his base PM.
