Can someone explain how this works? Thanks.

Bushel decay = losing %1 (?) of your total bushels on hand/turn run.

So....

If you had 100 bushels on hand and ran a turn, you would lose 1.

If you had 100,000,000 bushels on hand and ran a turn, you would lose 1 million.

I'm not sure %1 is exact #, but it's somewhere right in there.

thought it was 1/1000 not 1/100

I hate buying bushels but is it really more efficient to buy per turn than to stockpile a million units at a decent price then restock?

if you are anything but a casher take your cash - 1,000,000,000 then divide that by the bushel price and commision and buy that many bushels, place all of it on the market except enough to play batch's of 20-30 turns. this is assuming you have a decent economy and can make a few bill cash a day.
