I'll put it this way...

With less experience, you can probably score higher with techer.
With more experience, the gap in govt strategy isn't as wide as you might think.

That's pretty accurate, but the gap is widening.

I played for the first time in a long time on this server, and I see only 1 techer who got alot of lucky breaks with a country half my size. Theres a few tricks to teching, same as any other strat but I don't think its that hard to just grab and build non stop until your so fat you leap the completion easily. That's just a matter of being overly active and smart enough at target selection and Land goals based off turns.

I don't think there has been a 50m break with techer on EXPRESS yet. Only Commies have. C/I is one of the few govt that can get 40k land and can keep it. For a techer to do that, the set would be nearly over before they could tech.

how do u think u have the right to talk at the top tier? i hit a 40 bomb this set and i only been playing a couple months. some of u scrubs been playing earth empires for 5 years and still get fluff scores??

If you all haven't caught on yet., Bayrock isn't as new as he tries to present himself.

I beat him in war of course, but he wasn't the regular noob.

And in a post a few weeks ago, he referred to the old days and times before bots, which have also been around for awhile. He may be new to EE (doubt it) but he played Earth 2025 which is nearly the same game. He's a veteran player, and of course you beat him!

But I have to ask, why aren't all Commie's doing it then? Why isn't the top 5 consistently flooded with C's? Because there's a skill gap from player to player...Just because it's possible doesn't mean the bot changes haven't made it a lot harder. Due to the changes this guy had no choice BUT to get absolutely Obese with land in order to fight off a lean, stickly 12,678k land techer who broke 41m. But then I also have to ask, why did he go over 41m with less than 13k land when other techers who are fatter were 50-75% of that? Again, there's a skill-gap from player to player. What some of us more experienced players are saying is the environment is currently favoring techers....going back to what you said, just because most people aren't skilled enough to take advantage of it and break 50-60m doesn't mean it's not true...and just because some guy breaks 53m with C doesn't mean all's a walk in the park for C, or else we'd see multiple people doing it all the time every set. From what I can tell, top 10 usually consists mostly of techers..
