YES an op is BAD, especially when you're pacted to that clan. Why is it bad?
Simple. You are taking country information - from a country that doesn't belong to you or your clan - that isn't freely given for the express purpose of... what, exactly? Just to see how pretty it is? No. You're either giving out the information, trying to look at their strats or prepping targets to hit. Don't insult the intelligence of the players in Elders.

If you're coming to the aid of a DP, FINE. That is a perfectly acceptable use of ops and a good interpretation of aid, and actually quite honorable considering the alternative of a gang bang.
