1000 Buildings (1000 Stolen)

Does that mean i gain 4000 new acres and buildings mixed? it currently does not reflect so and it's a bit puzzling to me.

gained is the total you gained in acres,

stolen is how many buildings you took which correlates to your ghost acres.

1000(1000) would equal 0 ghost acres and 0 buildings stolen but 1000 destroyed

1000(1500) would be 500 ghost 500 buildings stolen and 1000 destroyed as the land you took destroyed the buildings. the ghost is the buildings you stole.

so do i only pay attention to what's in the parenthesis and that total will equal to the net profit i got?

yep the gained is the net gain.
