I remember quite fondly when he would frequently rage at me for some tiny little thing I did when we were both in Evo. Telling me I was not a good leader. And, I probably wasn't a good leader. I was probably a tad abrasive with members and leaders alike. Maybe a little too rough around the edges, so to speak. And definitely paranoid.
But, I was right. I predicted LaF's campaign to yank Evo from the top of the rankings (which no one believed, until after it started happening), predicted SoF's little OOP revenge war after that "friendly" war we and a couple other netting alliances had with them, I single-handedly dissected several issues that would have severely hampered Evo's ability to net properly several sets, I even built some of the tools that made slagpit's job as war minister much easier. No one remembers that.
But I pasted one single private message between two third parties on Evo's head board, showing a new IA officer's intentions to cover for a suicider in Evo's ranks, and everyone lost their minds. Most of the leaders hated me more for having the capability to read other people's PMs, than they did the two people involved in that little scandal. It appears that ever since that day, certain other leaders wanted me gone. Slagpit no longer wanted me to have oper access to Evo's IRC server, Anoniem just wanted me gone completely, and the general consensus of the rest of that thread in Evo's most exclusive Leader board was about the same. So, I stepped back and let it happen. Soon after I left, I made Anoniem eat his words when LaF FSed EVO for the third or fourth time in about as many resets. About a year later, another leader asked me if I wanted to come back, and I told them I was through dealing with alliances. I even landkilled one of their noobs a couple days ago. Now there's only like 8 of them left. Sad.
